The antagonist in the season was miscast completely. They took an actor who was young and has done primarily protagonist…
At first I gave it a 7.5 but after carefully thinking, dropped it to a 7. I know that's generous but the series was watchable and I'll write my review today. It'll be a mixed one as pros and cons will be together; can't really separate them. One of the few times I'm doing that. Hopefully won't be a long one.

Ouch re mainland reaction. DB I don't trust but I expect a low score. All the actors did well except the miscast antagonist which I solely blame on production. What were they thinking? Poor guy couldn't pull that type of character off. We needed Jack the Ripper not Joe Shmoe from next door who mowed your lawn for chump change.

Gao Haiming getting the pager, shouldn't be just a coincidence, it might mean something! Also is she fading away?…
What do you mean fading away? She can't stay in a book. She's got to get back but they absolutely must have their moments or time together irl and not just in the last 5 minutes. I guess we'll see tomorrow with express. If you watch it first, let us know how he remembers in current time line, when, and which episode shoots her back plz šŸ™šŸ».

i hope not. i want to see them together in the future a bit. only way i'd somewhat be ok with that is a RoTaR…
It seems he doesn't know her for a bit but that plunge into the water and near drowning with her saving him; gives him the memories back. That's what most of us think; we just don't know when because everything is vague. It seems like she's still celebrating CNY with him in 1999; but CNY is always after the millennium NY which is supposed to be when he proposes and she is shot back to her timeline. It's all a bit hazy. What's ROTAR?

Well said. Trying to compare the two series doesn't make much sense, because LBL is a romantic drama with a touch…
Agreed. Sometimes I feel that I could talk some sense into these people, but for the majority apparently not so the block button will be deployed. And because I am VIP apparently I have unlimited block options as opposed to those that are not. I did not know this until fairly recently.

Title The Truth
oh, this do not available on ur wetv region?
Not yet, but I didn’t expect it to be shown or dropped so far in advance usually for me on whichever platform it comes like the day before or a few hours before so I will know which platform it’s on based on when it comes, but I’ll keep an eye out obviously.

Enjoy!
It’s a great lighthearted romcom and you will get into it. We do get express on the 31st but don’t feel any pressure to finish it along with us. Just enjoy the drama and what it has to offer.

Well said. Trying to compare the two series doesn't make much sense, because LBL is a romantic drama with a touch…
When it comes to those two dramas POB and the one with a lot of initials, lol I can’t say which one I like more even though I’m going more toward POB just because I’m not really a fan of slapstick humor which dream with the FL for the most part was but I do like the ending of dream because again this was I believe a script that they all fell into. I don’t have a very good short-term memory so I don’t exactly recall, but I have to say that I liked both. Just like I like LBL and I like this one because they’re completely different dramas and on top of that I’m the type of person and I may be in the total minority that does not compare dramas even if they’re in the same genre. And that’s because I think that dramas each one is unique even if it’s the same genre and it’s the same hamster wheel because it’s done by different actors they’re going to bring different things to the table.

And when people come to comment sections to just drag dramas because they for whatever reason don’t like this or that or the next thing I just feel like they don’t belong here. And that moron more far down I actually blocked because the superiority complex was on full display and I’m sure she will probably pop on here and say something to you guys but thankfully, I don’t have to see her comments anymore because after a while, dealing with trolls not my thing. If a person can have a mature back-and-forth with someone it’s one thing, but when they are adamant that it’s all on you that you are bringing problems to their stupid ass post then I’m out.

But back to this conversation, don’t compare dramas watch what you watch like what you like and if you don’t like something, drop it, leave it and leave a comment section. Because incoming viewers do not need to see your BS. Am I right?

Ok I am not going to watch S2 now after all the comments. I have other things to watch.May I just ask what happens…
He did a bit and even a crush, but they did not end him out or should I say exit him out so he kinda just drops by the wayside. The series had a very strong start and then it just went downhill.

Take your time; the show is not going anywhere.

Seriously? Why are you here then? Two completely different dramas and just because they have the same ML and just…
Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t think that you were superior to my sense of judgment. I’m apparently also highly bothered because I contradicted your moral opinion. And I suppose that was so very wrong of me. Again reply highly highlights my points; don’t worry, I actually like this show so I’m not going anywhere. Comical smdh. People really need to take stock in themselves. Goodbye.

I’m not the one trying to silence others it’s you, my dear. You came into this comment section dragging on a drama, you haven’t even really watched or cared to really pay attention to because of the ā€œmasterpieceā€ you came from. I have zero insecurities because I don’t compare dramas and I don’t drag dramas. If you enjoyed that one, awesome. But what right do you have to come into a comment section and belittle a drama that is being enjoyed by so many people? Again if you do not like it, drop it I think someone else up top said the same thing. Yes Shakespeare is literature, but there were also movies made and those were masterpieces so I know exactly what I’m talking about. Transposing your own issues onto others simply because a drama you don’t find interesting deserves in your opinion to be belittled is where you go wrong. When people don’t like dramas and they’re adults, they don’t go into that drama’s comment section and write this whole entire paragraph that was completely unnecessary. They watch the dramas that they like and that’s it. Simple and mature. If you want to have the last word, go ahead, I will not be replying again. Just from your response shows me that you don’t understand one iota of what I said or thought. I hope you have a lovely day.

I wish I know who is the sceenwriter for this drama so I can avoid him/her next time. The plot is so silly.
That’s the point.

On one hand, you have the masterpiece "Love Between Lines," and on the other hand, you have this nonsensical…
Seriously? Why are you here then? Two completely different dramas and just because they have the same ML and just happened to drop back to back does not mean that they’re going to be the same type of thing. Obviously this is not for you so instead of dragging this one, just drop it and continue watching that one. It’s very sad to see people coming into a comment section of a romcom just to complain that it is completely different from a totally different drama. It looks pathetic honestly. Oh, and quit using the word ā€œmasterpieceā€œ. This is done in so many dramas that the gravity of the actual word has become common place and silly. Shakespeare and his writings are masterpieces just to bring a little context into your definition pool.

It’s funny how Lbl fans keep coming here to diss this drama. It doesn’t matter if you find the writing silly.…
I liked LBL and I like this drama. I’m actually one of those that is not comparing the two because they are completely different genres. But I have seen fans of that one come here and bitch moan and complain so I do agree with you.

As a Season 1 enthusiast, I didn't like Season 2.They "idol-fied" the drama too much. The ML turned into…
The antagonist in the season was miscast completely. They took an actor who was young and has done primarily protagonist support roles as like the nerdy, best friend or just someone who knew martial arts well but still in the protagonist section and then threw him into this role of basically someone we needed to have Jack the Ripper caliber of evilness and it absolutely failed miserably. The fab four I think is still the Fab Four though married, but I do wish there were a lot of things that were different and I will write my review in regards to it in this case cons outweigh the pros. They absolutely departed from season ones uniqueness, and what made it a sleeper hit in the first place. And yeah, I’m with you. I don’t think this thing is gonna get above a six on DB even though I don’t trust DB as far as I can throw it; I don’t think it did very well over there either.
