Finally just finished and it's nearly 4 AM here. I gave it an 8.5 overall that's still a high score and review will be written in a few days hopefully. I also hope it won't be a very long one lol.

Those contemplating on watching this, I would definitely recommend it.

Title Love between Lines Spoiler
because in her mind she think her husband took his own life and leave all the burden on her to take care of deal…
I don’t remember what episode it was but he wanted to come forward to her, but just at that moment, she met with psycho dad and thanked him for all of his help getting her back on her feet so her son was not going to blow his cover, even though he was only like 12 years old. The fact that he had to rely on a family friend and not tell his mother anything I could only imagine how much it hurt.

Real mothers think about their children as they’re number one priority, not just of themselves. She had a young boy to raise, and even though she jumped head first into this marriage with the business partner, she still should’ve made her son number one priority, which she did not.

Right in her mind. Meanwhile, her own child knew the truth the entire time, and was just biding his time 20 years of which to find the truth; with evidence. Something she would never ever had done on her own. Simply put she does not deserve him.

I just finished ep 21, I feel bad for him. Villains are truly made. Getting beat by your dad with a golf club…
I’m finishing up.

Pei Zhen and Miss Bandaid are officially together!!! Happy Ending💥
🤣🤣🤣🤣! That was so ridiculous. Buffalo Bill and his Band-Aid. But at least he had finally the brains to apologize to ML for everything he did. It didn’t excuse him and there’s no redemption arc but at least they were able to have a normal conversation.

People need to stop looking excuse for Pei Zhen.No one is born evil.In real life when people do bad things they'll…
Bingo. How many people and children out there are abused and horribly by their parents and they don’t turn into bad people. What you choose to do with your life is your own choice. The blood in your veins does not make that choice; the brain in your head and the heart in your chest, as well as your soul too.

Yup..the ML is too good of a son! if it happened to me, i would distanced myself further from such mother huhu
So would I. She doesn’t deserve him as her son at all.

I think they probably took that decision to keep things a bit light. There's death penalty for his crimes in China.…
I’m not saying we didn’t see it because of ML and that that was not what he was after. I’m just saying that as an audience, we deserve to see that.

I know about the death penalty, but if in crime dramas, they can perp walk people they as hell can do it here as well, given the seriousness of his crimes, and the fact that the show decided to show all of that. Nothing about any of that was light. Setting FL on fire was not light either. So walking someone off in handcuffs shouldn’t have been such a deal.

I still don’t get his mom; clearly she was not there for her son at all and yet she’s blaming it on her health that he was thinking about that, this the next thing like this woman will probably be in denial and delusional until the day she passes. I’m glad he’s going to go to the US and settle her somewhere hopefully near a cornfield where no one will ever hear from her again. Just an infuriating character. Almost immediately after her husband‘s passing, she never inquired anything, and just jumped into the hands of his very guilty, obviously business partner. She never asked any questions; she didn’t care. She didn’t even visit his gravesite for 20 something years and claimed she resented him. It was easier to say all that crap than to face reality and the fact that she essentially abandoned her son as well emotionally. Only someone as good as ML would thank her for being there with him at the end. Otherwise, he would’ve just shipped her off somewhere. I will go into her somewhere in the cons of my review when I finally write it in the next few days I don’t have to worry because at the rate you folks write reviews it’ll be over 100 before I get to put mine up lol.

there’s a part where you cant see their faces because of the lyrics. lyrics are ok for me but they stay longer…
It’s a bit of a pain.

Hahahah…love the comedy moments, hope the show is as good.😍
Didn’t know that, but it would make sense since he’s a child actor. At his age, his mom should let him choose his own scripts.
