Seems so far SML is only interested in bringing ML and his business down; as to why exactly probably something to do with their parents marrying each other or something else. Bad blood for sure as they seemed to be childhood friends before. But doesn’t look like SML has much talent when it comes to architect. He certainly employs a lot and has a lot of money. Also, I don’t understand why a grown woman FL’s age would give parents access to her house all the time without calling first at least? They’ve already caught a few embarrassing moments. What if she was intimate with someone and mom or dad walked in with their key? I get the humor points but not much else. I think she needs to set some boundaries.
I also want her to move back to her place at least be able to sleep in her bedroom. What’s the problem? Why does he need the entire place? He can sleep in the attic and they can share a kitchen.

The thing is, I’m not even sure he has any talent for design. He’s got a massive firm with a lot of money and a bunch of other designers so he can claim that he can design all he wants but I’m not sure there’s anything there.

Didn't watch that one. No I don't think he'll pop up between the leads. His entire purpose it seems is to best ML in anything design related through whatever means possible; legal or not. Ppl are talking about a love triangle but in my opinion if he's near the FL, it's only to use her to make ML look bad. There's a voiceover from her in the trailer of how he tried to manipulate her to go against ML by believing a bunch of lies which she never did, obviously. His voiceover said that "in the end she still chose him (ML)" so even his manipulation tactics didn't work. I doubt he ever had any genuine feelings for her. He just wanted to win the one person that mattered the most to ML.

If you watch the trailers, just the trailers, you'll want to toss him off a bridge before you even start watching! He's a POS. Which also means the actor is doing a great job if we're just at the beginning and he's already pissing us off lol.
