Not even close. He’s in a senior year he’s finishing up and he’s the complete opposite of the character IRL. It’s just funny how people that are going to that university, I’m not sure which one it is the ones that haven’t run into him or all upset and the ones that have are happy because he’s very happy to take pictures with people lol.
Yeah I thought Xiguang college friends were ok but now that I'm looking at it Rong was a complete and utter b!tch…
Other than maybe one or two of them, none of them were OK. If you compare her work friends to her college roommates because I consider them just roommates and not friends. It’s like a night and day difference.
12 yrs later and ZX is still thinking of XG??? 🤦🏻♀️
Yes, he’s thinking about her as I suppose she was and is the first love that he couldn’t get over. It happens in real life with both men and women sometimes. But unlike what novel readers said here you can actually see him kind of more understanding in the fact that she needs to be left alone and I have my own life even though she’s always in my thoughts or sometimes in my thoughts, whatever it is.
any recommendations for cdramas with similar chemistry?? this was so good
You are my Glory (same author; personally, I like that one a little bit better. Even though there are similar styles it being the same author). Are you only looking for modern dramas?
Review is up I'm going to link it just because of the number of reviews already up there. I'm glad they got rid of the 10K word limit because otherwise I would've been in a lot of trouble lol. Thank you to all of those of you who chatted with me in this comment section and all of the awesome discussions that we had. I look forward to seeing you in future dramas. But I hope all of you are well and continue to stay that way. Stay blessed 😇 https://kisskh.at/profile/Enigma05/review/528650
Ppl running into LWM on campus (seems he really is finishing his senior year) while other students only wish to meet him lol. The ones that have say he’s approachable with a big smile always up for photos. See for yourselves: https://weibo.com/1773434120/5252858645840170
Thank you for not painting ZX as the true villain. He was what I call the imperfect character that had great traits except when it came to the FL and only when he was an adult and experienced similar things did he understand where he went wrong back in college. Now that group of a holes bastard father and the moochers who lived with him that he allowed plus ML's uncle so on and so forth those were the real villains so thank you for writing a more detailed review than just the paragraph. I write them myself and I hope that today I will get my chance to finally put mine Down.
The mastermind has to be someone we've already met. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the teacher originally I…
Well, to be honest, I wrote my first fanfiction or started it when I was 29 years old, but the rest of it I wrote in my 30s that said the three that I had written prior to all the other genres that I have did have romance in them, but they were never the absolutely main storyline unless it was some romantic little chapter or like a proposal, but the main story had great plots that would always bring back to the main characters. And it would make you really care about the characters because of all these strengths and weaknesses that they had. I only wrote three fanfiction and all my other stuff are either poetry or other type of fiction. But people that only write romance and nothing else are definitely younger. I agree.

Totally on board with everything you said. I can’t stand a drama that has forced romance when they could’ve easily just written that entire thing out and focused on character, development and evolution as well as a solid storyline that keeps people engaged. Sometimes I wonder whether the ones constantly whining about romance and kissing and no romance in like a crime drama or other type of drama, that obviously has nothing to do with it are very young people. Because obviously those of us who are well past our 30s even in our 40s, no substance and want a story to have good substance. If there is romance in a story, that’s fine as long as there’s chemistry, substance and a good storyline. If any of those three are missing, then what the heck is the point of even having a romance? Just to say that it’s there? It drags the entire storyline down, sometimes it completely destroys it. I’ve seen some dramas that started out so so strong and then because of some forced crap that was unnecessary just kind of went meh and you lost interest.
