Finally started watching yesterday; it's making me laugh. But I realized something the actor who plays OX, was familiar to me for some reason. I had to backtrack to figure out he was in Journey of Flower with ZLY and Ma Ke. I like the smart and solid (for lack of a better word) FL; I like that the ML is also not a dummy and obviously understands that he likes FL. I'm still on episode 5 so she and her friend are rescuing the third idiot sister. Not being a huge palace politics fan, I hope that doesn't start taking up more time in the drama as I'm like it solely on the sidelines.
The stylist is for sure a dog lover. And. I made note to self as well not to jinx anything by calling anyone smart.
I’m glad LYN was open about having a hard time with the role. Better then pretending they’re superior at it. I wonder just how watered down the remainder will be. From the standpoint of not a novel reader, it’s starting to now get confusing in general.
BCD is supposed to be evil already well before this point. Screenwriter is being scolded for whitewashing him…
Oh ok. I'm really confused even though I've watched the previews for this week. Plus saw some clips but it makes me wonder what if a lot of the material we're supposed to see was cut? I never read the novel but it's rare the script sticks to it completely; I just want a nice rounded off and not rushed cohesive ending.
WXS went all balls to the wall with that assassination attempt for sure. And of course his brothers wouldn’t just let him do it alone. But he cleaned house of the spies on top of everything else. Common sense should have told him there was no way he could get to the chancellor dude; but at least now he knows who killed his mom and finally Fu dude got what was coming to him. I do wish he told that Zhuge martial uncle the truth; maybe things would have gone better. And folk singer guy is a psychic telling BCF that only doom awaits him back at the capital.
The parting scene made me tear up because w/WSX leaving the dynamic of the brotherhood changes. Both bros are willing to do anything to save WSX who they dub a hero even though his attempt was half-assed. Though BCF took the fall instead of SMZ, mentally he’s weaker and will ultimately succumb to the lure of fame from the wrong side but of course that’ll happen after he for some dumbass reason believes that WSX is dead; why trust your enemy? His psychological mind isn’t strong enough, I suppose. It’s a possibility that they may leave his downward spiral until the last 8 to 10 episodes.
Look at LC being all vindictive! SMZ didn’t kill her father (though she believes it) but then she goes off and blames him for everything else wrong in her life? Get off the high horse girlie! He didn’t steal your innocence, but slimy playboy dude made damn sure she felt uncomfortable later on with the walking behind her and the words to make me believe even more he’s the perp! So I’m not sure what she’s got up her sleeve and whether or not she’s gone full evil or is seriously pretending and playing it up to get inside the organization that essentially made her life hell.
This week will be very telling. As will next week though I hope they don’t cram BCF’s downward spiral into like the last few episodes. Part of me wonders if they’ll even make him evil or he’ll be pretending in order to be a hero while still killing absentmindedly. Really not sure what they plan to do in 12 episodes.
I don't understand the recent change of episode count. Each case is supposed to be one episode. Since there are…
10 cases but 3 episodes; because the schedule here doesn’t have an option for A B C, they’re considered as individual ones. Plus Tencent changed them to numbered episodes in week 2.
I have a crush on Baron Chen since I’ve watched him play Dylan in Fated To Love You
Oh I see. I prefer good actors; their looks don’t matter to me. I mean if the person is attractive, great but I’d rather them having the talent and experience or at least working their butts off to make something believable. However, too each their own.
I don't see what's wrong with the synopsis. It fits the drama.
It's not just that; the synopsis is also auto generated which means the grammar is off. I won't change the female centric part as that's obviously a massive portion, but the synopsis has to make sense.
