That's why it's better to rate after watching. A lot starts promising.
It would be a real rating. If you give something a 10 and it ends up being a 5 in reality, that's misleading to future viewers. If you do start at the beginning with ratings, give it something reasonable. Good thing is that at the end, you can always change your rating. 🙂
So I watched these episodes and I'm 50 Shades of Confused.....
First of all, Master Chu......really? This dude has worked as the head of Intelligence Services for how long and when he's most vulnerable, he just goes with one guard to the palace? And he gets out of the carriage for a random dancer? When literally everyone can be your enemy. I don't believe it for a bit. Either they made him that stupid on purpose or he planned this in order to save himself. I don't buy the surprise of it for one bit.
2nd of all, Big bro crazy getting caught just like that after 5 yrs of planning, load of bull. I think he's working with Lord Gao and the guy who Lord Rug w/Rodent answers to and that's who was in the carriage in the next preview (dude cared more about finding out scandals of his fellow court officials then fixing the famine in town). That shrieking guy sound effect that goes along with Big bro crazy needs to stop, it's as hideous as the 30 episodes of "EERRRRLLLLAAANNNGGG".
On a good note, LR has evolved finally. She's calm and collected and when she says his name you only partially want to cringe. Now her bro is the delusional one who is helping out the cult w/no regard that he's putting his sister and father at risk. Too dumb w/his puppy love. I won't be surprised if she offs him next, or brings robot not blinking killer to him.
That chick is such a buzzkill. After the original 16th night, she not even scary. Not even a tiny bit frightening; Lord Rodent is scarier. Cop out killer. Every time I see her, I want to change the channel or fast forward.
It's doing decently for a December drama (supposedly this is the month when dramas don't do too well over there).
Let me get some info on the background of datawin. It's done pretty well with dramas when it comes to data on which shows did well and which eh, not so much. But an example is Luoyang; lots of hype, over promotion to the max and it never reached first place on datawin where it barely got above a 2 rating and maybe twice; so not much in the face of buzz.

VLinkage is actually worse because it and Maoyan rely heavily on water armies. Datawin doesn't take view counts into account because most of the time those aren't reliable for said reason above.
