Yep, there is a purpose for being extra creepy. I kind of feel he's the mysterious F on the phone with that chick that went to see He Dun's teacher. Also the dude that broke into the teacher's house and stole the picture of He Dun and the teacher for his wall shrine of sorts. I think he's somehow connected to whatever scandal the teacher faces as explained in the above synopsis.
