No one knows but it's obvious that everyone except Xiaoju was in on the plan. Tao Tao is the bestest friend ever.
He didn't enter the room at her wedding though. Seemed like he didn't want to or wasn't invited. Were there any behind the scenes on YouTube; I love when casts act wacky together.
It sort of makes sense if we take the original novel into account. But, in the original novel, there is not much…
Some screenwriters do get it right but that's funny lol. Actors did deserve a better script. It's getting a 7.5 from but this really does make me want WRC to get better scripts and better work; he's really good.

I understand the thought process behind it, but execution was very poor. Let him study abroad, change his mind, what she said wasn't enough, whatever but make it believable and not for 5 years. The time lapse was way too large. I'll write a review either later or tomorrow. It could have been handled way way better; I'm speaking as an author who's done both romance and time lapses up to multiple decades and centuries. There was no ebb and flow here; it was abrupt, sudden, without cohesion. The actors did well but I call foul on screenwriters.
Ok I’m officially confused. 34 didn’t make any sense whatsoever. I ended up skipping a lot of it. Even if he agreed to study abroad, it was so poorly written. Screenwriters were stoned! Update: I'm officially done with it. 34 was very poorly written, could have been done so much better.

Perhaps but not a creepy extreme. I think it's part of his personality. How long does it take HJ to understand the grass wasn't greener on the other side?
It takes a completely different turn from ep 28-29 onwards.
I'm guessing by the time he returns at least to him, the misunderstanding doesn't matter. But why introduce that Chang Le character to give him further competition? That was unnecessary. It seems though she's the one with the unrequited annoying love, he gets the short end of the stick a lot.

Not everyone gets married out of college. Even in their culture. I do wish that since they showed such a robust proposal; their own wedding and life after should have also been shown not just on extra clips with two kids and actively working on a third lol.
