May I ask the origin of your term 'kitchen sink'? :D just an analogy? so in what way? In your comments, I laugh…
The American version it is "everyone including the kitchen sink" which means literally everyone humanly possible lol.

Don't forget the celibate one, he really lost out lol XD.
But some of his fighting skills were finally on display in 48. So he's not just a messenger and advisor to the emperor. He grew; a sad lonely growth but he grew too.

Exactly. Because of CG many of these friendships happened and formed. Completely polar opposite ppl.

Wow, you actually did research on the birds. Very impressive. Pillow book did have a lot of romantic scenes. But we also had two adult actors with experience plus a country that will censor anything too x-rated. I just hope in the future Leo gets to evolve in that sense.

Title The Long Ballad Spoiler
In 48 at the end when the main characters of the kitchen sink are discussing where they will go next as they bid goodbye to each other, they sound like a giant family being dysfunctional. It's quite funny especially the Master and Shiba convos. The general is just like the 5th wheel just standing about. XD

I'm sure it's a very festive event with music and joy. Probably not as formal as the royal ones.

I just think the ending could have been done more satisfactory. But to each his own; the most important thing is that they are in fact together and and living freely.

The closest to her gave blessings. I love the disciple-in-law thing, Master is such a comedic character with badass sword skills. It was really great to see such a difference for LHK.

They chose the grasslands because I think it has the least amount of laws and free. Plus Ah Sun is taking care of his father and the rest of the tribe.

I think I finally figured something out. When Ah Sun went to visit CG's mother's resting place, he obviously proposed marriage. When CG was setting off to rescue him and visited her mom and read the letter, she accepted his proposal and told her mother she considered him her husband now. For the entirety of the series, everything about their relationship was unconventional; so it only made sense that their "marriage" would be unconventional as well. Perhaps they were one of the first common law relationships where papers, rings, fancy ceremonies weren't needed. Thoughts?
