Enigma05

Tomorrow I'll be on 26. I can't deal with that crazy train Xueling. As soon as she's in a scene with anyone other then ML, I skip. Like I can't. That overbearing whining about how she's owed something and screwing with everything like that's going to make him love her. I mean the actress is doing a phenomenal job at being a total loony but I just personally can't watch it. ML needs to grow larger balls and get rid of that entire family from his company before they sabotage it to death. ML and FL cute moments are literally the only thing getting me from not dropping this drama.

Fingers crossed.

Oy lord lol. Thanks so much! I'm only hanging on for the ML at this point.

Beats the hell out of me.

They don't get together until she goes abroad.

LMAO. It seems he has to be responsible for everything and everyone including the kitchen sink and marry at least two women. If that's how epi 30 is, I think I'm literally sticking around because I like the ML. My review and ratings will reflect accordingly.

Postponed again. What's the deal?

I love learning about different cultures and traditions and have done so through my travels. I'm actually from Eastern Europe originally so my historical fiction has to do with an incident in the mid 80s that my family and I lived through. I will send you the link to my writings in dm. Everything is free to read. The website encourages writers of every genre, age, experience and allows communities to form. People meet through self made contests and genres. It's really a neat place. I have 11 books there.

That's so awesome that you have Asian ancestry. You should def do a family tree maybe like go through ancestry.com now that you know the where region wise. I find it all very fascinating myself. On my maternal side, we traced our family within the city I was born going back to the early 1800s and that city will turn 905 years old this August. That's like 4.5 times older then our country, the great US of A.

Btw, where are you on this show because I'm on 23 and I'm skipping all of SML's parts; can't take her anymore lol.

He's not managed by anyone. He has his own studio and is the executive producer of this drama. Perhaps he chooses to work with ppl he's familiar with.

Is she another vying for ML again?

This was already filmed so it's not like they film as we watch. There are too many jealous whiny ppl in this one. Women mostly, and one stalker dude.

I'm on 22 starting tomorrow and I legit fast forward through all of Xue Ling's scenes especially with his mom or her dad. Please tell me it gets better at 30!

So 14 episodes of all enemies and rivals happy and then the equally cliche getting back together in 45?

Does anyone else fast forward through Xue Ling scenes? I'm on 22 and I can't deal with her crazy ass anymore.

Congratulations on publishing! That's an amazing achievement! I've only published one book and it's poetry but I do other genres too and they are copyrighted for now. Currently working on a historical fiction. I'm the same way with American dramas. I stopped watching all but 911 which is on a winter hiatus anyways lol. It is the cultural thing but also the old school factor that we just don't see in dramas or series anymore anywhere not just the states. You should try writing your love story. Never say you're not good at something until you try. :) Thank you for the compliments.

It's cdramas, I'm on episode 13 and they've already used several cliches lol. I can't imagine to 45 what it'll be. The entire thing ends April 8th so we only have like a week left. I'm hoping for a miracle where all the creepers get their comeuppance at the same time with one giant hurrah! Wishful thinking I know lol.

May I ask if anyone here is over 35 years old, knows 80s tv, and can tell me if this series gives off "The Thorn Birds" vibes? Only those folks will understand the reference.

Slow burn romance is better then no burn. Or burn out.

Haven't even reached the 20s in episodes. Can I be a spectator? I love spoilers so please spoil away! :)

I love LOVE your assessments on these shows. So awesome! I've never gotten into KDramas, don't know why. Started very randomly with cdramas back in November of 2019 with Princess Agents and followed Zhao Liying into this rabbit hole. CQL is still my favorite costume drama as that thing deserves at least one Oscar, but I also love Pillow Book (speaking of hot men, Vengo Gao is one fine chunk of change), and modern dramas thus far I only really like Boss and Me and Gank Your Heart. I really want to see Oath of Love, but I think that's a majority of ppl. I usually watch for actors I follow as there's a plethora but once in a blue moon it's the plot that fascinates me here. Ironically I'm all for plot and character development when I write my novels so I'm really tough on the scriptwriters in my reviews if the thing bombs with plot and/or character development. But an attractive man does go a long way as long as his character can grow appropriately too.
