I didn't see the red lines; I have to go look again closer. Poor uncle Jiang; they put him through the wringer and he's been captivity since pretty much the beginning of the show. Yeah they call it meat, I call it goop....nasty stuff. I thought biting a human would be faster but I guess not. Or maybe it wasn't on her blade but she brought some with her. After all we only saw the 3 of them from the shoulders up most of that scene.

Edit: I just re-watched it and yes, you do see the red lines in both eyes go across his pupils. Good Lord, the poor man. But she definitely removed her sword after slicing him, so the goop got on him through some other vessel.

From what I understand, spoilers show him sacrificing himself to save the hunters. Fake Lin is one serious bitch. The ceremony for the hunters was very cool I think and very poignant. Did anyone else think that LXR was turning the old guy into a fiend because after she struck her blade, we heard some kind of crunching at his neck like something was climbing up there? We didn't see it but his eyes bulged so I'm just wondering what exactly happened but I guess we'll have to wait for today's episode if they will show it or maybe when express drops.

Woof; honestly had I known that it would be 20+ episodes of solid lying and BS. I would not have watched this series at all. The screenwriter and the editor screwed up big time.

I’m a bit confused with XS telling FL that because they rescued YT, it’s been days and fake Lin hasn’t done anything which makes him uneasy and that she’s got no more cards to play with. Um have they all forgotten about uncle Jiang and those other 4 guys? It’s just such a weird thing to say since they haven’t done the prisoner exchange thing.

People have a problem with the age gap because in real life the FL is 20 some odd years older than the ML but both are consenting adults he’s 23 which makes him not a minor and in the drama, they’re only 11 years apart so not a problem either. Plus they only get together when he’s in his 20s in the drama so not really sure what everyone is harping about but it’s time to put that to an end and if people feel so uncomfortable with this age difference, they should move onto a drama that makes them feel comfortable. Enough already.

Well, I don’t know who usually complains, but it’s like you can complain and moan and wine before the drama even drops but once it has people are starting to watch they want to enjoy it the ones that are positively looking at it and they want to discuss it. No one wants to keep talking about age. If that’s the problem, then move onto a drama that doesn’t have an age gap. It’s really simple.

OK seriously y’all; if you are still harping about the age gap you should just leave this show alone and go watch something else because it’s airing and people want to talk about what’s going on in the show and not just that one topic. We have four episodes that dropped and a lot happen between the past and the future and I personally like the way they’re going back-and-forth. I just hope it’s not going to take the entire show to do that but getting to the point of where she ran away, he went overseas, whatever it was.
