Yeah, I know Netflix acquires dramas from just about everyone that does well because you always see them in that little box up top but in this case, I really hope that some platform you can watch it on does too, otherwise you will have to go the you know what route. And that particular, you know what platform does have it though obviously nothing subbed as nothing has dropped yet, not even the how many ever trailers. So Viki does not have it in your region? Because in the US it says coming soon with three subbed trailers.
In the moonlight , chasing dreams , and Yang zi has one on the 17th of may , I think it’s called the heir
Apparently chasing dreams may have been pushed back to either end of this month or June or July. Don’t know why. They never had a solid date to begin with.

And I don’t have or want Netflix. But I have prime and I have Viki and every single one of their platforms even MGTv because of one drama that they actually subbed decently for a change. But I don’t have or want Netflix or Disney+. Those two are never getting my money. I actually did subscribe to Netflix for an American show and they screwed it up so bad that I couldn’t even watch the show so I literally had to call them and demand a refund because I canceled my subscription on the spot. I mean how you can screw up a domestic show is beyond me. But that’s a different story.
This is a great, great show and the cast worked so hard on it. They still think that there’s 3.5 international people out there I think. They really need to do some sort of survey to see how many people are interested in watching their dramas internationally to understand that it’s a massive base of all ages not just women between 18 and 30 for example I’m just throwing a random number or two out there. It’s literally everybody from your tweens to your grandmothers and men and people from literally every country. That’s so much revenue. I’ve studied business my entire life and it just mind-boggling to me that a company or companies because both daylight and Alibaba are apparently massive conglomerates. Well I know Alibaba is so how they don’t understand this yet is just mind-boggling from a business standpoint. And this being a massive drama with a big star. In any case what will be, will be and we will watch however we can watch, I suppose. I already know that Viki has subbed three of the I don’t know how many trailers so I just hope that they will be able to drop on time and not with a massive delay.

I have Viki and I’m in the U.S. so it’s there but whether it’ll drop the same day or later on, I’ve got no clue. Maybe it’ll appear on YouTube with subs or ppl will resort to “other” means if you know what I mean. You would think with a drama this massive they would want to reach as many international viewers as possible, and create an easy way for that to happen instead of this platform here that platform there. I mean their own revenue suffers as well because not a lot of people will want to watch it the legal way. It’s sad really because I’ve checked out some of the dramas that they produced, and even though a few of them, I did not personally watch they came out on their respective platforms internationally without a problem. Why must this very massive S++ show have this issue? I personally want to watch it because it’s my favorite genre and it just looks really cool, but I don’t want to wait a month or two before it gets released by Viki or whomever. So I will see who’s got subs first I guess. But this is totally screwed up on both the platform and the production companies part.
This drama is produced by Daylight Entertainment. Most Daylight dramas are not available on the international…
I think I have seen dramas by daylight entertainment and not had a problem. Hopefully this drama will be available somewhere where international viewers can watch it.
Update: So one of the big fan sites from Weibo just posted only to her followers saying that boo-boo left between 2 and 3 AM and because today a.k.a. the 12th is a memorial day he didn’t turn himself into a mailbox, just received quick blessings and just left quietly and people were asked to delete videos if they had them that’s why none of us knew when he left.
No idea when and if he left, maybe when the dogs arrived, but people onset have already started to wrap so the date is definitely correct for May 20 for him.
I sent an email to Youku global customer service re putting it on the site. Hopefully it’ll help; best I can do.🤷🏻♀️ If you want to send an email too, let me know and I’ll post it if you can’t find it on the site.
