I really don’t like how they took her out halfway through episode 19 and then didn’t even show her face at the end of the series when she returned. I understand scheduling conflicts, but if you’re part of the series, then you should be contracted from start to finish. And if at the end she couldn’t return for those few scenes or whatever then they should’ve been filmed when she was available. I kind of chalk it up to laziness by the director to just move some things around because we all know they don’t film in chronological order.
If it’s the real drama synopsis, can you add it above with a link?
Where on Weibo did you see it? Because even if a well-known blogger writes it it’s better than nothing for now. I haven’t been able to find a synopsis anywhere honestly that isn’t like a sentence long.

Oh ok; then it makes sense. The other thing though is they could’ve filmed that scene or those scenes when she didn’t have a scheduling conflict like when everybody was on site, you know what I mean? Especially given the importance of having her back to just end it like that felt less then. I think the director could’ve worked something out differently.
I’m done with it but quick question was the FL not available so they couldn’t show her face in the final scene? Because that would’ve been way better than how they actually ended it. That’s the only explanation I can come up with because I’ve only seen that happen if actors are not available to film at the time otherwise it doesn’t make sense. I gave it a 9.5; review in a few days.
I guess it’s a good thing I have a decades worth of illegal drug research under my belt so I can poke holes in some of this last case last episodes thing. It’s OK though I don’t and didn’t expect these folks to do that much research but some basic stuff could’ve helped. Like meth is a drug that is itself created and therefore cannot be a raw material for all other drugs. I had to rewind and reread a few times to make sure I read that correctly. Perhaps the translation/subbing is wrong but that I wouldn’t know since I don’t understand Mandarin.
Wow Detective Zhu got some skill shooting a fast moving target from that size a long distance. She should’ve applied for sniper training or something I mean, that’s a pretty far and very accurate shot for a handgun. Shame they took her out of commission so soon afterwards; at least she’s still alive but would love for the iron triangle to have continued working on this final case; the big main one.
I am no cop or scientist, but the amounts of time they have a conflict of interest and instead of recusing themselves from cases where they investigate or conduct autopsies, but instead actually do that is pretty significant and not at all what would happen in real life if there’s a conflict of interest, and the doctor knows the suspect or the victim they have to recuse themselves just like judges do. So unless in China, those laws are completely null and void this is a little much. Not only does it mean that the evidence found can in someway be tainted because the person performing the task like an autopsy inadvertently will make a mistake because of their emotional state, but it also has a very big psychological impact on the cop or scientist, so taking all of that into consideration and still continuing with whatever they are doing, has a lot of professional inconsistencies and problems lawfully.
I’m off to finish watching; starting from 18. Once I’m done, it’ll take me a day or two hopefully to write the review. The 7.9 drop again? These website glitches get annoying. Hopefully admins with start fixing them soon.
