I’d kick him in the ass and disown him right in that hospital bed that he’s in. A bastard like him does not deserve a daughter like her. Plus, we’ve already determined that she has an issue cutting the umbilical cord with toxic people in her life.
Yeah, someone told me he gets a little bit of something. I hope it’s not everything. I mean the guy is just horrible. I would rather give ZX a proper redemption so he can move on with his life than this piece of crap.
If bastard father gets any sort of redemption whatsoever, especially after FL finally reads him the riot act that mom and grandma and ML all overhear two of whom that didn’t know the past I don’t even know.
You mean the one that they won’t have? And she confessed to him in college and he never did anything. Keep watching…
If we’re saying this, that means we have watched either the entire series or know what’s coming. Also, your description of how things are going is a little not what the rest of us saw.
I could relate somehow to the SML. Introverts like us don't open up easily until we feel comfortable enough to…
I don’t think he’s evil. I think he has inherent good qualities. I just think that the way he treated her in college was poor. And yes, now an episode of 31. It was when at work he finally saw what bad rumors could do to you he recalled what happened to her in college. He’s the type that unless he experiences it for himself, doesn’t really understand how other people feel. I wasn’t like trying to be aggressive or anything. I was just explaining what I was feeling about him and general of how he was in college. But as a character, he could very easily express gratitude, he’s got friends, he’s got a job where he works hard and got where he got. But unfortunately, he still can’t with this one girl or a woman now just be open just like he is with everyone else. He’s not evil, but he definitely has an inferiority complex as well as a bit of a victim complex.
With hunk of junk only when he experienced the same kind of treatment with false rumors at work did he understand what it was like for her in college and he just stood there and didn’t do anything. And still couldn’t send the “I’m sorry.” it wouldn’t have made a difference in bringing her back but at least it would’ve done something as they say better late than never but I guess for him crying to himself is better than saying listen you were right I was wrong. I’m sorry.

How did he not put her down while they were in college and misled her and just was upfront about things instead of letting other people make and say bad things about her as well as want her to be telepathic and then when the whole tantrum came down, I actually had the balls to call her and the rest of the world, unfair, and say that she confessed at the wrong time and tried to push herself into his life when she did nothing of the sort they were in the same group of friends. it’s not like she kept wanting to talk to him like toxic chick always did and for him so all of these things that he said basically we’re incorrect and she called him out on it. It’s not like they had a contract that she had to work in Shanghai just because he gave her resumes around. She could work anywhere in the country she wanted she chose a place to be away from her father and somewhere her mother supported that’s more important than some guy she crushed on in college.
I think everyone is bashing the SML the most compared to the other villains because he has a little more screen…
Sadly, he was bad in an emotional way, only toward the FL toward his colleagues and other people he knew how to be a decent person but with her and that’s why he lost her he wasn’t.
