I think from what the writer herself actually said that out of all the books that she had written that this character was the first one who snatched his life back from her, which was actually a very awesome way to put it. So he survives just has to go away for something like four years to fully detoxify according to some of the clips that I saw, but he returns and they reunite and they are a happy family of three even supposedly going to some festival together as it was filmed. There are a lot of clips circulating around all over their apps, including apparently from the actors themselves that also posted photos of the three of them together, so letting the viewers know it will be an HE. After all of that to make it an SE would just be absolutely bizarre and make no sense.

Zhang guy is a separate family. I think Li guy isnāt a good person either given the way he treated ML but the thing with him and perhaps the Zhang family like the Murong family is power. According to all the synopses that I have read, they are going to start resolving their issues before war breaks out, so thatās a catalyst, but I wonder what will finally make her realize that she needs to not only tell him everything but that they could work together, and they do eventually work together in the whole war thing, but I wonder whether they still have to deal with that perv family on top of the war.
The fact that in todayās episodes, she literally in her head asked is what happened three years ago so important to you made me sort of think that sheās a bit of sociopath because knowing that he went to prison and had that happen to him the assault and mutilation rendering his medical career pretty much gone for a murder she committed whether on purpose or not, and not even telling him about it just saying, I never meant to hurt you was just strangely detached, considering she was all calling some famous doctor and trying to figure out how to fix his hand. It was not quite what I was expecting from her character, especially given the fact that she wants to take revenge on people and supposed to have trauma. Someone with trauma doesnāt act like that towards someone else with trauma, especially after learning that the other personās trauma is from their own actions. At least the prison part not the growing up with the raving lunatic for a mother part.

I saw a clip and though not in front of their mom he did open his mouth finally and at least tell off the staff and the other bitch aka his sister or aunt or whoever that walking thrift shop POS is.
