Who are the Li folks don’t know them. And Xie Bin2? Lol Yeah last concert was CQL. That means thing blew things out of the water over there. I think all 3 are probably filming.
Well, cemetery was today so review didn’t happen today. Now just resting; I still can’t believe they’re doing a concert! If they livestream it; I’ll watch it. Don’t care about the no subs as long as it’s not on MGTV lol! I follow YSZ aka Puzhu and he’ll be there. Not sure who else from the supporting cast. But that’s cool; seriously I have not heard about any cast having a concert—especially in some location in Shanghai so no small event—since CQL (The Untamed) 6 years ago!
My rating is the same as yours. The fact that this show essentially has no romance tag and that genre is not included there’s a little hint of it, but it’s not what the show is about I think is what put a lot of people off. Because like I said, everyone wants a happy ending and everyone wants romance and every single story and that’s just not how it goes. There will be sad, endings and open endings or These types of complex endings like this one was. And romance honestly is boring as hell I am happy with a male centric drama. It’s cool to have women in there, but you don’t necessarily have to have couples to make for a good show. The writing definitely could’ve been better. That’s where most of my hits are going to be when I write my review in the cons Because it never drags in the beginning of a show and this show dragged in the beginning with that hamster wheel storyline of frame ups. And then the ending had some issues plus some characters had some issues so there’s issues and things but there’s also great things like the acting of the guys and the girls and everybody basically. There were maybe two characters that were annoying and you wanted them to go away but the main folks did an amazing job so did a lot of the support. And the costumes and the set I mean, you can’t say enough good things about this drama so it is a mix of both. I think the screenwriter definitely needs to take screen writing classes to understand how to put a solid storyline together, so the plot doesn’t view off course in the beginning and in the end here and there And how to make transitions of characters leaving smoother. That’s another point of contention for me. Then again I’m a novelist and I’ve both written and edited movie scripts so to me I kind of understand how it’s supposed to be done so I I guess you can say judge it or review it from that angle.
So true. Instead of going up, it went down when I thought it would go the other way around.
It happens, especially when people want a happy ending for all shows and that's just not how it goes. Plus this ending was symbolic because he literally took FZ's words on saving thousands of lives at the price of one. I think the ending was actually exactly as it should've been. There were many glitches with the ending, which I will write my own review but the way he went out was like a champ. It was very powerful and very symbolic.
Ppl have their own opinions but this show is multifaceted and complex so for some they only scratch the surface. I don't know if my review will help when I write it but, I'm not sure where ppl got lost other than the scatterbrained writing. Acting was wonderful as was fighting and gorgeous costumes.
