Well, both times it was the outro not the intro the intro they skip but the outro for some reason they leave in. It just doesn't make sense to the overall feeling of this show.

Well, those four at least one was already his friend, one was his wife/fiancé and of course the poison dragon kid. As for Peacock, I'm not really sure where he stands. He just wants to beat him like it's a game or something and his father just wants someone to arrest. That's why I think they just need to find a way to exonerate him so they can get back to solving cases without this thing constantly dragging them down. Don't forget he's got the poison to deal with as well. The Huo chick from the family who's going to eventually join their group also I'm not really sure what her agenda is when it comes to him but ok sure she's another one.

The Halloween cackle honestly reminds me of the Halloween witch in any store around that season. Or a lesser version from MJ‘s thriller. The rap is totally out of place I think.

Also, a curious point will our ML not be vindicated until the last episode? Just because every single time they mention Yesha, they always say his name. Even though there has been no actual evidence (some circumstantial), even in the beginning other than him being the only one alive that he’s the serial killer. I’d like for them to move beyond that to find out who the killer is and what other cases there may be. Because if he’s constantly having to find disguises and what not in order just to get past whomever it’s going to get old very quickly. And we have what seven cases; I’m going to guess this is case number two.

What’s up with the random rap music at the end of certain episodes and the Halloween cackle? Kind of makes me laugh honestly lol. Yeah Huo chick making moon eyes at ML is a little creepy 😬.

I like original IP’s as well because then you don’t have people that are upset because something deviates from a novel or something doesn’t. But the fact that in the trailer shows that she is part of the group gives you something to think about for the future.

Maybe she’s playing double agent who knows?

I’m actually just like you I don’t care about romance. If there isn’t any, that’s even better. It’s just annoying that that’s the word that is stuck up there when it’s obvious there isn’t any and shouldn’t be any.

No idea if it was advertised as a romance. I think it was advertised as a fantasy drama or something of that nature, but MDL has a propensity of sticking that tag or genre first no matter what the show is unless it’s strictly like crime thriller cop, something of that nature if it even has a male or female, unless there’s a massive age difference, there will always be a romance tag. I just find it unnecessary just because there will still be people in the comment section asking if this is a romance. Personally, if this thing did not have an ounce of romance in it, I would probably be happier. Romance does not always sell nor is it necessary.

If it had no romance even mentioned, I’d be happy too.
