As soon as Palace politics came in is when it happened. I hope that with the end of today’s episodes, we will get back to case solving and what not because there’s still a few before the big main one.

It’s possible that this is another one of those compilation things, but even then it should be relegated to Support because I think each title that goes before the name of the character is its own arc. But whoever put that up, obviously didn’t quite understand the point. It’s just very weird just because They have different storylines or arcs and stuff doesn’t mean they’re all main leads. Even compilation works has two leads three leads whatever it is everyone else is support.

Child abuse does have consequences that said I have personally met and know people that suffered and survived pretty bad child abuse and still became great human beings as adults as well as loving parents to their children. So even though you do have that possible cycle if you get therapy and you are working on yourself, it is possible to break that cycle. I even remember meeting one person years ago that never got therapy for what they endured and became like a motivational speaker on the topic and I believe was a husband and father to something like four kids.
The whole necrophiliac thing goes back less to child abuse and more towards psychopathy. Yes, childhood trauma played a major role in it, but there was more to it than just that.

That’s so common. I don’t even question it anymore. Very very seldomly do dramas stick to the novel to the point where the novel readers are literally comparing and contrasting more comparing than contrasting. In the 5 1/2 years since I’ve started watching these dramas, I’ve maybe heard of two that followed the novel to the very letter. Sooner or later deviate somewhere and that’s also true with American films and TV shows if there’s something in writing that’s not an original IP. Deviation is very very common.

Guys after her, we’ve got a the ML and a grandmother possibly two once the empress Dowager wakes up and that whole family that adopted her. As for the females if you saw in yesterday‘s episodes, all she had to do was make a quiet and smart remark, and it shut them up in a heartbeat. Because they’re used to just slandering and BSing back-and-forth they’re not used to cold hard facts. Not to mention her Bestie the princess who’s always by her side I think after today’s ridiculously annoying episodes, she may gain more powerful friends.

A really good watch. By the way, if I’m the one posting spoilers, I have stuck everything behind the tag. I don’t know about anyone else as I cannot speak for them.

Literally layers of shit. I wonder why they don’t just film costume dramas in the winter when it’s legitimately freezing outside.

She out there playing the victim in front of not her emperor, and demanding that should be done. Like who the hell are you? I bet she only whined to come along just for that. But I’m kind of wondering, has she even ever seen him before; have they ever interacted even? Like she speed walks to that red carpet and makes that demand. Like girl take a seat in the back or just walk out; the exit is marked in red. Then she has the nerve to go after the FL to kill her? Something I never understood in dramas like if you kill or harm the person who you supposedly loves mate how the hell do you think he’s going to react? Like say you killed her you think he’s automatically going to fall in love with you? This type of logic makes no sense to me. And yet I see it in these historical dramas repeatedly. It’s one of the most annoying tropes ever.

The main idea for the story was to vindicate that Prince the ML grew up with as well as get revenge and vindicate her family. Then the sub plots were the other cases which, after the necrophilia one went out the window because hello palace politics all of a sudden. And I understand they have to delve into the palace to get to that final case, but we haven’t gotten there yet. So there have to be more cases in between I think like Three more I think losing that prince starts the next case tomorrow today whatever. But the rest of it is so unnecessary. Who gives a rats ass about this chick? The fact that she’s going after the FL is so unnecessary. It’s such a sidetrack from everything we’ve been doing so far. She’s not even an enemy from this country and they have how many of those? We’ve got so many people behind the scenes we don’t even know the bulk of them. There should be at least one more prince coming in who is blind who’s blindness gets cured I’m going to guess by the FL according to the trailer but how do we reel it back to what it was? I’m not a fan of palace politics at all, especially when they come in unnecessary bundles like this. Where you have caddy bitches going after each other and two vile creatures with their equally vile mothers, trying to one up each other, not caring for the people of their country at all. And all of the annoying social ladder climbers, like the faux cousin and the father too boot. Did I miss anything? This is what we’ve seen so far in just a day or two of episodes. We are not even mentioning moving forward. I hope that since there’s another 😘 in the calendar for these coming up episodes, that this mess gets nipped in the bud, and we move onto whatever next case is. Apparently it’s hunting of some prince in a forest. But is he dead or alive? I guess we find out. If it’s the former you’ll need FL cause she’s the coroner. 🤦🏻‍♀️

She’s not used to playing dirty, but she plays smart and that shuts them up real quick. Because they’re constantly digging into each other but all of it is just BS. Just with one quick witty comment they shut down.

What speed dating? Unless it’s super sonic speed just from her table to the red carpet in front of the emperor. She literally demands that from the emperor. Like who the hell are you to demand anything from the emperor and he’s not even of your own country? She’s definitely delusional. Like have they even met before for her to say that she’s in love with him with all of her heart and that he’s humiliating her by saying no? Has she ever met him before? Did she even see a picture of him ever? Or a drawing? Or a caricature? Or a puppet show, throw me a bone here? Forget sitting down, she needs to be slingshot from that country back home with a stamp on her ass, saying that she’s an embarrassment and a humiliation to her country.

FL though SMDH. Baby girl is whip smart but when it comes to physical confrontation, she obviously can’t do it so unless ML gets her full body armor, he better teach her some martial arts 101; I don’t know. Something to get her at least some sort of protection. And she needs to stop letting her guard down like this because it obviously isn’t the first time. She’s got to become tougher in that sense ML and all her other friends with martial arts skills can’t be with her at all times. ML wants to protect her, but he can’t because they’re not together 24 seven nor will they be until they get married. Plus, she still stuck in that mansion with those people who are not even related to her in any way shape or form until she clears her father‘s name. Now, how is she going to do that? I think once they start bringing up those skeletons in the closet as when all the iffy stuff start to happen to ML I don’t know what more iffiness can happen to her. I’m curious out of all of the princes and all the other extra uglies we’ve met so far who is the main big bad or maybe there’s plural of them that did that to the eldest son of the emperor as well as her family. We’re more than halfway through and have more bad guys than we know what to do with.

It’ll come when it’s meant to. Market isn’t the best and they have to get their advertising and investors and what not.
