For our leads? No way they get married at the end they’ve had so many pictures and spoilers and it’s in all the trailers and in both opening and closing credits. Do you know who sings that song? Because I know LYN sings the intro, though I don’t know what it is called. And I have no idea who sings the outro. I believe it’s a woman though.

I totally agree. The character development hasn’t started and we’re already over halfway in. I think the only character development CGH is going to have is rapidly dropping below zero or going to level hell. I also like when actors step out of the box because then it helps them from being type cast as just a one trick pony. I am proud of LYN for doing just that not one single role of his has been the same. Though he has yet to play a total antagonist anywhere I don’t think; though the first heroes, he gradually became one, but he didn’t start out as one at least he didn’t show it. He evolved into one. But he hasn’t played a role as an antagonist from episode one yet I wonder if they will offer him that chance at some point.

That’s the perfect portrait of CGH! And I applaud the description of the skin care routine, which is hysterical and the truth about the 30 lashes. One minute he’s on his knees begging that he should be the one to marry FL but oh no, no no he won’t take for his supposed father-in-law to be the 30 lashes. And his smug look at the pain ML was enduring, I just wanted to take that whip out of that eunuch’s hand and just smash him across the face with it. And I am not a violent person, but some of these characters turn me into a fucking red flag.

Yeah we pretty much know from episode one that he’s supposed to be a dick but to be a dick to this degree I’m actually like I said very proud of WYS for being able to do so. There were some comments earlier in the section below saying “oh I can’t take him seriously he’s got a baby face. How can you possibly take him to be evil”; are we watching the same drama? This dude is so full of bullshit and hypocrisy it is oozing out of every poor in his body. And he does become more ruthless I think than NH because he does not want to see the truth because only his version of the truth matters. It’s like he’s in some twilight zone that he created for himself thanks to the sadistic emperor and he will not get out of it. Obviously he’s not going to sit down several rows back or exit out the building until the last episode because they are shooting a series so he’s going to be in the modern world too. But this dude, let me tell you, he will fabricate a charge out of thin air. This shit could be made out of dust and he will believe it himself and get the emperor to believe it. I think both of those guys should be hung from the rafters like they did in the Salem witch trials. Only these two are actually guilty and not of witchcraft!

Yeah, you have a good point in regards to the third wheel dude. She’s got no feelings for him as she does for ML already. It’s kind of obvious. Plus there’s that whole illegal smuggling off shipwrecks crap that his family business is a part of. I’m actually also mentally prepared for separation amazingly usually I’m like not really, but in this case because it is a military type drama or if this was a cop swat, you know whatever drama you understand their concerns because they are real life concerns (unlike all those gravity defying Spider-Man stunts that are completely unbelievable for any special ops person to do and the crappy scuba thing in the beginning as well as the choppy editing….still). And they will get back together much much stronger. I totally agree with that assessment.

It’ll be even better if on June 11, we get express.

Well, I’m watching 1.5 so I’m OK. The reason for the .5 is because the plot has started to get repetitive so every day or maybe every other day I choose to basically what I started to do with these last few episodes either fast-forward or skip altogether. The ML is doing great the FL I really like the actress, but I don’t think she was written well here. And in general, I think she was Miss cast actually I think they both were because honestly, I don’t feel any chemistry between the two of them and her superwoman stick has gotten old. Probably as old as all the miscommunication and misunderstandings here. And yes, I’m talking about the gambit one if you are watching that, I think you understand what I mean.

P.S. I’m watching this solely for LYN as well. That’s why I ever decided to watch the drama. But WYS (CGH) who I sort of follow is doing his best as an antagonist for the first time ever or a whatever the heck he is morally gray starting to turn evil dude. Usually, he plays these kind hearted, intelligent or witty and funny protagonists. So seeing him as this absolute obsessed nutcase who will blame someone for the hell of blaming them without a shroud of evidence is actually eye-opening and a bit refreshing so I’m glad the actor has stepped out of that box.

How many people want to guess that when they do the cliff diving tomorrow, he actually gets severely injured to the point of nearly dying to break her supposed knowledge of “ML plot armor“ trope won’t kill him that she babbles to herself as she runs and hides? I truly hope that that is the turning point for her in understanding that she can be killed, but obviously bounces back and he can be killed, but we don’t know if he will bounce back.

So those of you guys that watch tomorrow, please let the rest of us know whether for starters, my hunch is correct and also whether we are finally at the turning point and no more misunderstandings and finally communication happens.

And CGH is just getting worse by the episode. I honestly think again I guess this is not a spoiler that he will be the one that rebels towards the end of this thing not obviously our ML.

Yeah, I do hope things change because as soon as I see a preview, that’s usually what they put on the screen as her favorite line to say and I’m like OK keep fast-forward. I want to finally hear her say I need your help or let’s be together and work together or something of that nature. I literally want to hear her say that. ML needs to back off and help her outside of the realm of things because they’re both in the open and the enemy for the most part is in the dark other than for them, but there’s no evidence to present. I mean, even the dumbass emperor is taking pills from a son that has committed treason and he has no idea about it.

I think just as the synopsis says they’re going to be tested and also I think at some point the FL gets kidnapped or something according to the opening or closing credit so I don’t remember which. I also hope that that Han guy doesn’t become a third wheel problem. He’s got feelings and she’s already suspecting him as being part of bad guy association. Which honestly I don’t think he is, I think he’s completely clueless to what his big brother does, but I just don’t need him in the picture. I hope he gets his less screen time as possible.

Also with our main couple according again to the closing credits, the ML is the one that breaks it off at some point because I think after one of his underlings gets very injured. He doesn’t want to have that happen to him and her worry about him. But honestly, I don’t think that’s his decision to make alone; like that chick did in the beginning with her husband. The one that she wanted to divorce in order to give him the life she said she can’t which I also don’t think it’s true, I think Something is going to happen where maybe she gets pregnant at the end or something.

I think their relationships will get tested in every way because according to those same credits. All three women land in the hospital for whatever reasons. Looks like the SFL is unconscious or in a coma or something for a while and the FL maybe after that whole kidnapping thing This is me guessing. As for the third lady probably because of the pregnancy again just me guessing. They all will have to go through what every military relationship does.

That’s why I’m jumping around because I’m tired of the wonder woman thing. He isn’t perfect, but once he found out all of her secrets, he was determined to go to the end of the Earth to find the cure for her poison and to save her brother with her. However, she still thinks she’s wonder woman, and that the obsessed prince who still doesn’t understand that the empress he fell in love with, has absolutely no feelings of the same kind with him and that he’s just being used, we’ll just always believe all the lies and crap as she tries to find out all the truth of the mansion. I honestly think that she needs a kick in the head well she got one when she fell off the cliff, but it wasn’t in the right direction. At least the ML now other than his own sense of justice and revenge has something else to fight for. She on the other hand can’t seem to understand that he’s her greatest ally and strongest one to boot.

It was lightning fast and because they didn’t have enough screen time you can’t really tell but at the same time you could tell by the time passing that it wasn’t a very long time. Just look at what’s going on with the leads. If this was like a six month eight month year long getting to know each other thing you would’ve seen it, but this is literally like she just graduated from a medical school, she doesn’t have a job, and wham bam boom she’s married to the guy she saw maybe twice at a café who instantly became her boyfriend and then they got engaged three dates later. That’s literally what I saw.

No wonder parents didn’t have any issues but it’s going to test them, especially when he’s going to be leaving her a lot to do his duty and as you said he left her on their wedding night because of some typhoon or something but I think with all military families, it is the same husbands and wives leave for a very long time when they deploy wherever or go special missions or other things and that’s normal in any country. But I don’t think that kind of “dating“ is normal.

I’ve been skipping and jumping and fast forwarding through episodes, but it just seems like whether she has her memories or not she’s determined to do everything alone like she’s Wonder Woman; one chop at the throat and she’s ready to be cremated if not for the ML or one attempted save of her maid, which, instead of once reaching her going back to the surface, she lost her own breath and again had to be saved by the ML. I’m tired of it. 🤦🏻‍♀️ girl needs to know her own limits which this one obviously doesn’t. I will continue to hop skip and jump around these episodes until I see her make a conscious intelligent decision of who she should be partnering with. And even if ML is trying to help her, I still see him working toward his ultimate goal of revenge and justice, as well as putting his cousin on the throne, the only eligible Prince for the job out of the plethora that the stupid emperor had. Spreading his seed around was not a good idea in his case; his seeds other than for one person; are either vicious or greedy or both.

I really hope the entire Meng family is exterminated! Now even ML’s ex-wife has become a villain and ordering murders. Because the father wasn’t bad enough. I feel bad for that scholar that was sacrificed and was Prince Wu Xia’s friend. He did nothing wrong, just got introduced to the wrong people. Though to be very honest, I kind of had a feeling that that would happen when we met him. Though not by whom. Feel bad for when the prince will find out who was behind it.

Here’s my question that I was very confused about how long did the second couple date before they got married? To me it seemed like merely days or a few weeks; I didn’t even see a kiss. They obviously seem very into each other and that they like each other but do they love each other? Like you can’t feel love coming from the two of them; attraction sure. It’s so soon and so early in this series, I think that should’ve been developed better. Just like they are doing with the leads.

No he's def not on par with LYN but this his first antagonist almost role. It's a huge change up and that's why I say he's doing a good job. That's not an easy switch to make. Plus I don't compare actors, roles, or dramas.
Yeah FL only has herself on her mind.
