I agree with the first part I think maybe the emperor himself was the intended target. But still to blame a child; it’s so far-fetched. As for the second part, we won’t know until we see I guess.
I think I’m starting to understand who’s behind all of this and even working with the other country. He’s been behind the scenes a lot, but I had a hunch it was him and I still think it’s him.
Didn’t he else catch the admission of CGH to NH that his father had the secret of forging weapons and since his father is dead there will never be a secret like that again? The next scene was of LSL’s eyes like there’s something about that. So the forging of the weapons had to do with some kind of secret or some kind of formula?

I have a theory that may hold some water, his father, other than forging weapons maybe he had an affair with the Empress or the Empress just didn’t care for the emperor. no episode one is basically the entire episode one both parts of it and then the rest of it will go to 13 because the end date is still the same July 18. It’s just going to be a ton and a half of work for all of us after the show ends to properly placed the cast members in the episodes they correspond with.

I love how far LYN‘s acting has progressed. Especially that monologue he gave her in the basement about how life really is in the feudal world; that it’s basically kill or be killed that no one trust him and that’s why he doesn’t trust anyone. In other words, he’s a byproduct of how he grew up. The fact that he basically nearly cried while giving that monologue just says so much, not just about his eye emoting, but just his line delivery and actions in general. Maybe this will help start moving her mind along toward the future; and not her preconceived notion of everything. I still CGH as villain material he’s just too I don’t know what the word is slimy I guess. Too self-righteous. The emperor is just an idiot I think altogether because if she really think about it who the heck out could be the villain? Other than maybe some uncle that pops up every five episodes?
