It’s actually pretty simple. The emperor is an asshole, her fiancé is power hungry, and gunning for the throne and the stupid prince is exactly that he’s just naïve gullible and trusts the wrong people. Meanwhile, our ML is the one who’s treated poorly because all of CGH is crimes are being pinned on him. Emperor is bias against him and our FL is just clueless and stupid.

I think he has though he’s already told her the entire history of all of his battles and she came at him. Well, that’s not how it happened and this happened and that happened I mean, what can you do when you’re talking to a stupid person that refuses facts. But goes off of things that were incorrectly written from the world that she came from? So unless she herself starts seeing differences in people‘s reactions and in people’s actions, I don’t think she’ll really understand much. Plus, she needs to get over the whole self entitlement thing.

I would definitely peg him as the villain.

I think you’re close in the analogy, but he would be one of those people that pours gasoline on you set you on fire and films you while you are burning while laughing hysterically. But somehow this story needs to turn around because if they continue to use one trope for more than 10-12 maximum 15 episodes people are going to start complaining. And plus this thing is 40 episodes that’s a lot so things need to start changing scenarios need to start changing and people‘s minds need to start changing. I love LYN in this, but he’s not getting anything fair. Rather his character is not the actors. They’re all having a great time and I’m glad for them and I’m sure this is a good show. I’m just waiting for that moment when that switch turns on where wait a minute things are not as they seem; the wrong people are being accused of things they didn’t do.

Oh it’s pretty obvious that CGH is gunning for the throne in using that stupid gullible 18th prince. I agree with you. I already stopped trying to defend her in any way after today’s episodes because I was just like you have got to be kidding me like Helen Keller was smarter and much more perceptive than this chick is; mind you, Helen Keller was both blind and deaf, and she could still do amazing things. This chick has everything right in front of her and yet she’s still going on the old script that she incorrectly read.

Exactly none of it made sense. She couldn’t even tell the difference between the real one and the fake one even though LYN is a solid half foot taller than WYS and I’m talking about actors. Plus she wanted them both to kill HN like girl. What in the hell are you even thinking? Attempting to assassinate a prince as a capital crime no matter how much the prince is hated you’re putting a lot of really bad ideas in a lot of people‘s heads, including your own stupid one. Plus the one that wants to kill him in the first place. Like the humor is great, but I’m starting to think it’s wearing thin because this particular trope needs to be moved on from.

Honestly, I think it goes back to the aunt and the fact that ML was framed for killing her when in reality it was CGH that did it. From that point on the emperor didn’t care. But FL needs to get out of her rose colored glasses Era, and start seeing things for what they are.

I’m actually glad they’re letting him play an antagonist or some version of that for a change because this actor is well known for playing soft hearted protagonist. But yeah here he’s just loving the fact that no matter what he says or does or doesn’t do he’s still going to get the emperor‘s favor. And it pisses me off. I just wanna honestly slam the character against the wall even though like I said I love the actor. And I feel really bad for the ML because he’s the one literally getting the shortest end of the stick possible going all the way back to when CGH killed his aunt. And even that was blamed on ML I’m guessing. And yet the FL lives in such a stupid bubble I just want to hit her too! That’s why I hope that as these episodes continue we get out of this Plot with the ML and the FL and she starts to understand things a little bit better maybe even helps him somehow. We can’t just have this one plot where the bad guy is getting away with everything while the good guy’s getting blamed for everything when it’s quite obvious to the audience that that’s not the case.

I like the actor but the dumb as Nails 18th Prince and him getting all the accolades even though he does all the bad things while our poor ML gets harmed when he hasn’t done anything wrong and FL is just in some bubble needs to burst.

Someone spare the poor sort of dead NPC from LYN and his tactics 🤣🤣🤣.

Her first little hint was when her supposed beloved refused to leave the military behind and live a peaceful life. Her next big one should come in tomorrow’s episode 10, hopefully.

As though I kind of hope she would figure things out beforehand because we’re only getting to episode 10 and we have to go to 40 and if they’re going to keep circling around the same trope, it’s going to get boring even with the comedy. I honestly feel like I wanna hit her with a bat every single time she blames NH for CGH’s stunts when she has absolutely no idea having not read the entire script to begin with plus of course it changing now.

I think there’s going to be a step back from the teasers anyways he finds out her drawn half map and tells his subordinate to find out everything about her so maybe when he finds that out he’ll stop being so annoying about it.

Exactly my point. They have to start making things move forward. Besides at the table, read in episode one the director in the screenwriter agreed to be changing the script so instead of just assuming that everything she knows about the old script, which is not that much only the major scenes is correct. She should be thinking about the fact that the screenwriter is changing the script. But because she doesn’t seem that bright, I don’t have high hopes for her. I don’t think it will be until the one she thinks is God screws something up in her life that she will start to think differently about things. Also, you are right they can’t keep dancing around the same trope of he kills me. I kill him.

It’ll be great when they finally open up to each other about their secrets so they can really work together instead of two steps forward, three steps backwards.

The script is getting changed as they are moving into things and she's of course, changing it with her appearance, but I'm just hoping that she can start to see ML for who he really is and not for all the lies that she wrote in the original script and what she is obviously experiencing. I kind of hope that in tomorrow's episode 10 we will finally get a little smidge of that. I really hope they don't drag this long thing out for 20 episodes.
