I didn't watch it for it had seasons ...and the fact that they are yet to air is actually the worst ....I don't have patience to leave myself at cliffhanger waiting for a season with no air date ...!!

yep her mother was like so imp part of drama ....and yet she barely got any screen time ... as for her friend I don't really mind that they did not show her side story ....but at times I was like ...I am sorry but I can not wrap my head around it .... I don't think there's a S2 ...cuz it was based on a novel and they have almost given us a mini heart attack by closing everything (that quick)...but I still have my hopes up for some special eps ...or something ....I need some more closure ...lol also with her baby ....it was wrapped so quick that if they tell me she was dreaming about having one in the first place, I'd legit believe that

well I never expect kdramas to be set in another country entirely ...and usually with cdramas also it's the same ....so tbh I wasn't disappointed ( no expectation no disappointment )...and quite frankly I like it for some reason ..the only kdrama I have seen set majorly out of korea is -the package ....other times it's usually the character returning to their motherland and dealing with stuff ...

I usually try to analyze writing instead of blaming characters ....cuz writers are quite imp part of dramaland but usually ignored ....sometimes you just watch a drama for cast but it can be quite bad experience if writing doesn't appeal to you ....so thanks for this article and giving credits to writers! and tbh I can say that the writers are reason that I can still stick to dramas ...cuz I love the creative ideas they come up with .... I agree with most of the part you wrote about Kim Eun Sook ....she has great ideas but fails in execution at times ....(I liked the idea of goblin but still couldn't finish it at the same time I came to dramalad cuz of DOTS ...so 🙃 )
....I have also noticed that sports dramas often go unnoticed ...and tbh I really loved HSL even tho I knew nothing about baseball ....it's one of my fav drama as for the others mentioned I have watched Run On and Fight for my way ....for I feel run on was more of a romance drama and not sports drama ....cuz I have seen many shows with athlete's as leads ...but they aren't exactly sports dramas ....just bec of this ...I think a bit of focus towards sports is what I expected from run on ...it's more like slice of life ... you could have chosen ping pong life , racket boys , thumping spike , weightlifting fairy kim bok joo , my unicorn girl ...I guess they fit better ....but everyone thinks differently ...btw great article ...I really liked the idea ..!!
