Did they cut Joseph Zeng and Chen Duling scenes? They are barely there.I only tried watching for this couple.
They have a ton of screentime. Eps 12 and 13 are mostly focused on them. Dont let the comments fool you into creating an unfair bias. This is a 4 lead drama with two couples and balanced screen time. I understand that a lot of fans have their primary bias and it is hard to see any other pair get focus, particularly in dramas like this one where it is equal billing, but dont let that taint your perception of the drama because it will only ultimately let you lose out in what i think is most important: watching your fav(s) - and all involve in the drama honestly - put out their best for your enjoyment, your laughter, your tears, and whatever complex emotions are being stirred in this drama as GJM navigates us to a hopefully HE (if you like to tenaciously remain positive like me haha).
Also, only one episode worth was cut, and from what i have seen so far, the storyline is still building but WuWu's screentime has not suffered from it.
Lol Kind of like Immortality. Its been around forever, finished filming and it already has well over 100k in comments and over 24k watchers without even airing. Thankfully, unlike Immortality, VoS actually aired haha
When will they release the second week airing schedule? I cant help but get impatient even though the current schedule is not even over yet lol Addicted and need episodes 12+ immediately to stave off the cravings!
VOS I can't wait for the new episode to air, I'm more obsessed while LBTG can watch casually few episodes one…
I agree to this. I think VoS (at least for me) has a lot of rewatch value because i find myself rewatching episodes while I wait for the new ones to come out. I could finish some of the other series I am watching, or catch up to this one, but I cant seem to leave VoS quite yet!
I am watching both. I see your view on the comments. The reason for the high count of comments on vos and some of the other factors is that it was pending for a very long time while teased, then filmed with very little spoilers but a lot of teasers, and then had a long review period. While filmed and i believe partially while being reviewed, fof happened and some of the actors on that show had a lot of hype so it had a tens of thousands of comments before the show even started airing (been checking in on that one for a while - well since fof and i fell in love with yanan and tjr lol - and a lot of the older comments were mostly about the filming, the delays, etc). Four main characters with big fan bases can do that, particularly since two of the main and one of the support all came from fof.
LBTG is a different kind of show, a bit more subtle and slower in building, slow built chemistry. VoS is a GJM show through and through so you kind of have to like the style (or at least be sympathetic to) of GJM to like it imo. At least, from what i have seen, those that did not like VoS tend to not like fof or mjty either (not a rule, just a generality).
Its kind of your own preference at the end. VoS has a two couples dynamic too, so if you want just one central pairing (just one ML and one FL) then LBTG might be a better fit.
I really tried to like this one because of the ML. I really liked him in the other dramas that I watched from him, and to be honest I quite liked him in this one (overall). Unfortunately, the FL was just not my type and I kept finding her too annoying to watch. She is in so many top dramas that I keep trying to like and watch her, but she never really hits my sweet spot (at this point I have unfortunately developed a bit of bias, so dont take this comment as gospel, and no hate towards FL as we all have actresses that regrettably do not resonate with us). Honestly, ended up watching Please Dont Spoil Me, and it just hit all the right notes despite being short form (but again, it might be bias because I absolutely love the actress in that one). I would still recommend to give it a try since the premise is good, and try PDSM as an alternative if this one doesnt quite do it for you like it did me.
