This was my first Thai drama and oh boy was it amazing! I was thoroughly impressed by all the acting, the characterization (Phatson is a queen!) and storyline.
This drama was something (and it wasn't exactly good)... female lead was a full-blown adult acting like a teenager (her character was so annoying!), no wonder the romance "worked" (still creeped me out). Literally only kept watching because of Seo In Guk (freaking adorable, love him). Then Lee Soo Hyuk graced the screen and that's how I finished this dramađŸ˜‚
Pretty good drama, actors did a really nice job and the intrigue was well done too. I can definitely say it's much better than the original Designated Survivor with Kiefer Sutherland (sorry dude, still love you in Lost Boys though!) but that might be because the US shows usually like to run for more than 1 season and that can drag the plot tremendously.
Literally one of the best kdramas I've ever watched (maybe because I also appreciate crime-thrillers). Interesting characters, excellent actors, developed plot and on top of that they didn't need to add the usual kdrama tropes. I also thoroughly appreciated there was no real romance plot and I salute it!
This was a disappointing drama, did not really connect to any of the characters or the story (lots of plotholes). Maybe it's because I love sci-fi but the sci-fi aspects were not thought out very well. Thank goodness for Gong Yoo's face and Bae Doona's acting, cause that was the only thing that kept me paying attention.
This whole drama could be explained by the lyrics of a song in my native language. "Mas quem serĂ¡, mas quem serĂ¡,…
Lol, never in my life would I think I'd ever see someone reference pimba music to a kdrama! But it's totally spot on... and frankly one of the reasons this drama aggravated me so much. I gave up at epi 7 and i'm so glad I did after reading about the ending and everyone's review of it.
