I checked the melon master original post and so far the only ML casting that pretty much trusthworthy is QCX. The rest are all fake. The melon master said that QCX is one of the MLs. Meaning that he could be the 2ML or 3ML. Not neccesarrily the ML.

I'd love him to be the ML in Pearl Curtain too but I don't think its possible. He'd mentioned, on a live event that he's going to star in another adaptation by Tonghua (the same author who wrote Lost You Forever). Maybe in the future, hopefully.

But Liu Te, from same company gets to work with iQiyi production twice. I find it so baffling, why Lusi hasn't been cast in any iQiyi production. And even YSX gets to work with all 3 platforms. Lucky her.

I lowkey still want Linyi as the ML. He rarely does historical drama. The only one he did was Ling Long and it was like 3 years ago. I think it would be refreshing to cast Linyi cause he's always been doing modern drama. We can look forward for his styling in historical drama

So rumored ML went from Deng Wei → Linyi → Qin Junjie → Liu Yuning → Chen Feiyu

Maybe the production is keeping it low key. On the bright side, I heard that the production company is CMC, a big global distribution company, the one that produced A Writer's Odyssey, The Wandering Earth and Li Xian's A Love Never Lost (not yet airing but from the trailer, it looks expensive AF). They produced films more than drama. So I have high hopes for this team. If it turns out to be true, we can expect great cinematography like LLTG.
