I also hated BOF, the only remake that may be worse is the 2nd season of the Taiwanese or if Thailand remakes it too. Japanese version so much better!
The Heirs also got on my nerves, only good thing is Kim Woo Bin, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kang Ha Neul being in it and from the OST HongKi's song.. the rest really could do without.

It's one of those concepts where she's pretty and had a hit dramas such as Shining Inheritance, Iljimae, Spring waltz, Dong Yi, Always. Looks like most of her dramas were popular (whether because of her or the male lead)
So that pretty amounts to her being popular. Also you can see that pretty fast she was given main roles from the beginning.

Same for me. I don't know why but her acting seems off and kind of cheap? (like for the worse actors, while she's considered one of the best.)
For example her shocked face when she's thinking\talking it out with herself.
Feel like all of the drama is riding on Lee Jong Suk's acting, the good script and shooting of the drama.

Feeling like the theme for this summer is medical\doctors and actors?

From airing drama my fav is Mirror of the Witch, older ones Full House and Memories From Bali (jdrama Hana Yori Dango).

Agree about the romance. I just keep digging up old dramas, like at least from before 2005. I'm actually at a point where I try to find some that are so rare and the quality usually sucks. A minus to that is that the actors aren't Idols, and I can't go kyaa over them afterwards since they are old now =<
Also feel like the jdrama declined in resent years, not as interesting as it was before even though they use the same popular actors.
By the way, I don't remember where I read it but Korean actors are paid more than japanse actors (I think it was Japanese ones get payment for the whole drama while Koreans get paid by episode too)

Agree with you all. I also think that in the chinese version they had an air of maturity, especially the 4th brother, that I don't think any of these actors can project. Sure LJK is pretty but the feeling he gives off is too different so I donno how the ending of the story will go since Nicky Wu really gave off the tragic vibe so well.
Same with Rou Qi, UI is so preppy and happy smiling how is she gonna play tragic? It's like she can't not smile

Memories From Bali through the whole series who likes who kept changing. The ending was shocking so much and I cried and rewatched the end twice and cried some more.
Also Scarlet Heart and Empress Ki also can fit in here.

The last episodes were so sad, painful but still beautiful. I cried for like 3 hours straight T^T (really relieved my grief over exams since I wanted to cry but couldn't)
All the main actors played really well, so the emotions came across.
Now it's times to see the 2nd season - even thought people dissed it but I just have to know what happens on. Can't leave it like that!!

I don't like UI that much, but we'll get 35 eps of looking at handsome men, so let's just ignore her and look at them only.

I don't know about other people but ParaKiss didn't make me feel good because of the ending.
I even watched the anime and cried for the last ep T.T
The mangaka has a way of writing beautiful, sad and painful stories (also wrote Nana)

I really love mars so I'll watch it, although it's weird since in the TW version the actors seem older to me. (I think there they were in university and here they are high schoolers)
Also in the trailer the song is from Lipstick (1999), I hope the drama will have it's own ost and not songs from previous ones.

Wait, the characters have Korean names, the are kstars, and except the lead they are Korean actors but it says it'll be aired on a Chinese channel... so which is it?

Somehow looking through the list has me thinking that it was a shitty year for drama because really I don't think any of them are that good or would become a classic or one that we'll remember next year (maybe except Kill Me Heal Me)

Loved him in Long Love Letter which introduced me to him. In SOS I was hoping to see more of him :< besides those he either had smaller roles or the dramas are old and kind of hard to find like IWGP and Lipstick (thank god there's is torrent in the world for those)
Too bad he doesn't play major roles in drama since I wanna see him more - preferably with longer hair.
*keeps herself from having a fan girl attack which means doing marathons of his dramas now*
