True, they compare her to KCY who is 34 year old trained veteran spy. People compare her to Han na who is also trained agent. People compare her to Bon Ok because YR is not doing anything purposely to harm other people. People don't see that she disclosed her real identity to Soo ho to save others, she stood up for hye ryong's boyfriends when comrade joo was beating up them, She played a main role in diverting the spies when they were trying to escape from the dorm collectively. She tried to save dr kang from comrade joo by holding a gun towards spies. Even talking to her father she asked him to save them and that she can't trust anyone in there. But all people can see is 'YR's actions are results of her falling in love with soo ho'.
Are people watching the same drama as me ? People are justifying Boon ok's actions and liking comrade joo but they fail to realize YR's and Soo Ho's emotions ? What , when in the hell YR put anyone in danger willingly ? Soo ho's situations where he is explaining through his eyes that he have no other choice ? When talking to dr kang he said he wants his comrades to reunite with their families and that's why he wants to find out about the truth more. Still people see them as just two people who are in love ? People praising KCY just because she was shown to be a veteran spy and then she orders joo to lock YR, Ms Pi and Kang Mo up together in the basement. She knows she gave boon ok a gun with no bullets and still asks her to shoot (it might be an act tho). Would it be wrong to say that boon ok for me is the best character of the show? Idk...I see people hating on Boon…
Boon ok put live of 30+ people in danger, what kind of justification is gonna work here ? and YR was the only one who cares about her the most among those girls. When boon ok takes YR with her from the basement, YR even asks her if she is not mad at YR anymore. But opinions differ.
