Isn't it too sad that people work their ass off to feed their family ,to raise them up in the best environment and do their best to protect them but in their old age they end up being all alone while their children be living their own seperate lives ? I am talking in general.
Even tho the grandfather here is like 70 in the series but he can run errands for her wife , his children. In short he can do physical activities when he was told to and his sons live their life not too much caring about them , live separately in 2nd or 3rd house ( I haven't watched the whole drama , only 3 episodes in, so don't know if things change here) shouldn't they be taking care of them properly.? I have noticed in Kdrama land old people are portrayed as they can do all much work, have enough sense or say judgement over things and here I used to think that children and people in their old age are both same. . I don't know if it's only me who thinks like this
I love this Drama SO MUCH. I have been controlling myself to not watch any mv or clips/scenes available on SNS or youtube, so that I can forget its story and then can watch it again. Lol, I think I'm crazy š
Can someone help me out here? I am a hater of love triangles and reply 1997 made me skip several hours because…
Reply 1997 is more about romance. But Reply 1988 focuses on all the aspects - family, friends, relationships, neighbours, youth. Even tho there's a love triangle, and I see lot of people here have second lead syndrome, but it is still worth watching for the family, friendship vibes ,and the warmth it gives.
You should try true beauty. I just finished it and Iām over here thinking of this one is worth it
I have already watched True Beauty, but IMO true beauty is noway nearer to Ganganm Beauty. Love triagnle in TB annoyed the hell out of me. But thanks for the suggestion :)
Actually, I tried to watch some J dramas but failed miserably. Jdrama tend to add character's thoughts that is going on in their mind during that particular time, in background through dubbing or voice over, they talk less in screen time and narrate more in the background or to be precise, it feels like most of the time actors / actress are always speaking in mind, which is something I don't appeal to . While in k drama characters speak through their acts. Well, it might be only me feeling like this (and I kinda messed it up explaining here in this awful way). But Jdrama have an advantage i.e. good story in less no. of episodes.
Is there any motivational drama with having little to no romance in it... Like start up, itaewon class all have romance in it. So far I found law school only.
