I won't say it was rushed. But they can make it 10 mins longer to explain more, like how is KCY doing in foreign, what about family members of spies of NK ? YR's relationship with her friends ?
Idk why they choose to not show it.

Idk what the airplanes mean. I guess they are the symbol of their beautiful love. And it symbolises a great tale of love was written there around the dorm.

I can't stop myself from thinking about it. But did you notice when SooHo was watching NTI taking YR away in the last scene and the screen blurs out, till the last moment SooHo was taking breathes. 😭😭
