I am sorry but those NC scenes added no value to the story. I read the smut free version on Manta and fell in love and then read the R version and thought why was it needed??? It was only added so that it would sell.more copies. Even without the smut the story about two gay office workers falling in love and all the office politics creating issues was really fresh for a BL Manhwa.

The changes are to give the show a more realistic approach and not to treat the uke as a damsel in distress which most KDramas do. It is a cliched trope that is loved.
