I think the writer intentionally made DS looking so dumb like that. What if the diary actually has Inwoo's name…
The writer is making DS the worst image of a nice or good person. I am not talking about the way he is dealing with the diary but the way that he just let people exploit him and disrespect him (even before he got the diary) and suddenly when he tries to be a villain, he becomes more confident & everybody respects him now? That's very toxic
Ok I thought In Woo was supposed to be really clever and accurate and precise at what he is doing! The only reason that he is "apparently" a pro is pure luck. He overhears random conversations and runs into people randomly, and from there he builds the plans. Also why is Dong Shik such an idiot? a good person does not have to be an idiot and VERY submissive. Shin is the only one who is doing some intellectual work (even though it is clear that they dont want her character to overpower the others, which makes her character seem very slow and frustrating).
I would give it a 2 just for the acting. When I first saw the trailer and read the synopsis, I got super excited to watch the movie. It did not look as amazing as it seemed after all. A badass women who turns out not a REAL badass who is easily manipulated by MEN who she barely even knew lol. The movie lacks a storyline, not even a good storyline but a storyline in general! like they failed to make us care about what is happening to these characters including the "villainess" herself.
Despite that this drama is light and funny .... let's talk about a serious issue with this drama. I know that kdrama is well known for its bromance and queerbait (no serious relationships between the same sex are allowed aka no homo) but this drama went TOO FAR! it's not even queerbaiting at this point, it is high-key homophobic and would trigger the audience if they are part of the LGBTQ+ community. I mean I know they wanted a reason why the female lead and the male lead not attracted to each other at the beginning, but did not they find any better reason than hinting him as a gay (which was never the case)! was that casual homophobia really necessary?! and I am not only talking about the scenes where they were joking about being gay as it is a shameful or low/bad thing, I am talking about outing him and trying to convert his sexuality and stereotyping gay people. And worst; showing that gay people are not REAL and every man on this planet NORMALLY is attracted to women and vice versa ! I mean because of that, the main characters never seemed cute to me after all, they seemed REALLY creepy!!
I mean I started watching the drama because the cast seemed very perfect for me.. I am still watching it, i am also in love with some characters.. But after episode 10, i am so disappointed, and i blame this on the writer :\
