The ending that disappointed me the most was that they just left Chang Yi hoping & wishing for Yuhue and showered us with a speculative dream sequence of how things could have been. Just distasteful! No, it wasn't sad it just end so damn strange for me. For it to have been a love story it’s just ended really weird the empress actually decided she didn’t want to be empress anymore and left the palace. Where do they do that at? Then Noble Consort and the emperor we were left to assume they lived happily ever after.🤦🏾♀️
