This is definitely not an Idol drama. Considering it was filmed during height of pandemic, it's pretty good. The drama also paid hommage to the Manhwa artist by including manhwa drawings in the drama. That is a nice touch.

Ok ... this is out of the topic but since all of you love the theme song by Zhou Shen, you nust watch this clip on Zhou Shen singing this song. Get prepared to be blown away. OMG! He is super amazing. He just literally blown away everyone (including the superstars) in the room.

Lots of good looking guys looking very feminine in their costume especially in Untamed. But word of Honor is more balanced handsome and rugged handsome ... heard Simon Gong was really flirtatious in that role.

I was hooked from ep 1. Not one bit boring. ChangGe and A'Sun characters are so interesting. The storyline is very intriguing.
It's not a fluffy fluffy drama nor all straight political or tragic drama. It's a drama about life, life choice, finding your path, character growth through trials of life. It has a bit of political story, a slow burn love story and watching all the characters blossomas an individual.
There's no hot panting mouth stuck to mouth acts, no silly ML or FL pursuing each other, no jealous or crazy 3rd party. For once I can enjoy a drama without all these typical drama lines. Forget to add .. there's not silly or petty break ups or misunderstanding between leads that we often find in drama ... thank goodness.

Octogenarian and 90s will be a heartwarming and emotional drama. It will touch the very topic that is facing the world right now ... the aging population and how the old interact with the young. It will be sort of like Go Ahead type of drama. And it has a super wonderful cast of veteran actors.
Surprisingly love scenery was enjoyable for a not a fan of that kind of genre..
If only they didn't make that young man behave like a jealous teenager and the 2nd lead is way too old for her as well as they make that guy a bit greasy ... then the old guy was always trying to outsmart young man with power ...young man managed to outsmart him with very smooth moves that I laughed. The FL is behaving like teenager in love ... like ML is her 1st love n bf which he is not. So it kinda like watching a teen drama.

You forgot ... in that era, an emperor decree or edit is final and law. Disobey it means head chop off. A'Sun might be able to get away with it if ChangGe pleads to the emperor as he is her love and hubby to be but Shuyu is Emperor royal servant. He cannot disobey. And if he did, what about the reputation of the Princess? She will be deem tarnished.
