There's hardly any romance. Not sure where you hear about love stories in this drama. Only great romance hint was LWJ sister n her bf n is rather brief. This is definitely not a romance theme drama. No damsel in distress that needs the MLs to rescue them like typical drama. Wuxin is unfortunately one of the major characters though we love his chemistry with XS n theur friendship. This drama is really about friendship, brotherhood n growth of each characters. Well written plot.
Finished this drama ... only made me wanting more of their adventures in the wulin world.

Once I finish all ep, I'm going to watch their Donghua version. It's equally good or even better even their fighting scenes. The only differences between live action and the anime version is that the ladies are very well endowed like all typical martial arts anime. It's still a fantastic drama. I'm glad it didn’t go to the romance route. Glad it continues to focus on friendship, bromance, smart brains etc.
