I'm only on ep 3 n already so many things happened. Wow ... this type of office politics is like working in a vampire environment...every vampire take turns to suck their blood.

So far FL has been thrown rocks, stones and every shit at her. She needs to smarten up n have a backbone. She must take the advice from her best friend seriously.

Every rewatch, I noticed someone new n also in their expressions that I missed because I was too busy trying to understand what they are saying or reading subtitles.

No banshee Mother In Law or Mother too.
No crazy misunderstanding nor evil manager or boss or colleagues.

This is one positive and happy drama.
We need more drama like this.

Teacher Mai did have a girlfriend but his girlfriend dumped him n go back to her ex boyfriend who returned from overseas study in ep 9. Poor Teacher Mai got dump in front of everyone after he proposed to his girlfriend.

Apparently she knew Teacher Mai since she was little. I think they were from the same village.

YuTu has come to a cross road in his career. He was always focus on his work as an aerospace engineer, being away for months and uncontactable at time and his work is top secret. As glamorous as his job sound, his pay is actually quite pittance. His mom fell sick once n his parents came to the big city to seek medical treatment without telling him n stayed in a small cheap motel. Luckily his mother sickness wasn't very grave. All this lead him into thinking how he has neglected his parents because of his work n realised how aged his parents are, can he really take care of his parents if one of them got seriously ill, was he being a selfish jerk and son to pursue his dream instead of earning good money to support his parents in their retirement. These chain events waver him a bit ...should he seriously consider changing job? Quit aerospace and work in an investment banking which pays him lots of $$$? He already has an offer from an investment bank.

Note that he has always been passionate about working in aerospace. He took a double major Aerospace and Financial Banking in top university to appase his parents. However his parents later wholeheartedly support his choice of career.

We can see that he was very torn n that his heart is still 100% with aerospace even though he has handed in his resignation (his superior didn't accept it n put him on long leave).

Yes indeed. Love Scenery is just a weaker copycat of YAMG.
I have watched LS. Frankly the love story was quite boring and the ML childish jealous behaviour was really a put off. The reactions of FL to his childish behaviour was "ooh... i love it"🤦‍♀️🙄🙄🙄 On top of that, FL has a fatherly figure chasing after her 🤮🤢. FL was a waning star. The story is cliché.

Of course YT looked cold and reserved initially. That's his personality n plus the fact that he was troubled by this mid career crisis. His life revolves around his aerospace work only. He has no interest nor time for gf. Even during school days YT was cold and reserved. He was only interested in studying, he don't even socialise with other kids. His ideal gf was someone who is equally smart as him and able to work hard together with him. That's says so much about him. If you look again, you will noticed his eyes is veiled/shut down tightly. One can't tell what he was thinking nor feel.

There was a slight spark of interest/admiration/recognition in his eyes when he realised Cotton was QJJ. If you look back on that episode, you can see that his eyes widen slightly like a guy who saw a beautiful lady, there's a spark of physical attraction in his eyes for a sec that quickly disappeared n replaced with a smile n his eyes shuttles was down again.

Only after getting to know QJJ better, you will notice that his eyes sparkles, soften, fill with emotion when he look at her when she wasn't looking at him.

Expressions are all conveyed in their eyes and facial expressions. It's the micro details in YY n Raba acting that those who didn't like or feel the drama missed out.

I think a lot of viewers are so schooled into clichés drama that when they finally watch a drama without all that accidental smack on lips of ML, catching /saving FL from fall or from a car or motorbike or bicycle even riding down the road like it belongs to them, arrogant rich CEO dealing with poor spunky n quirky girl or an ex high on LSD or weeds (delulu brain) etc ... they find this healthy positive relationship drama a meh n no chemistry between leads. They feel drama not makjang enough or leads needs to hit on each other immediately after meeting few times or have a hot forced kiss after a heated argument.

YAMG display of affection is a realistic display of affection between 2 mature adults in real life. Their yearnings for each other after being separated for so long, their mutal understanding of each other, their witty flirting (so adult kind of flirting) with each other, how they touch each other and kiss each other etc ... wow... just wow... YY & Raba chemistry is like a small 🔥 burning into a big 🔥 🔥 🔥

I really like You Are My Hero but in no way it is better than YAMG. The chemistry between BJT & Sandra Ma is so warm n natural - young love ... they are each other'sfirst love. Their courtship n love is liken to a teenager falling in love for the first time. The only thing that marred my enjoyment of this drama was the concentration the show gave to the 2nd OTP. Their story line drives me nuts n I can't stand both characters. One is obtuse to point of heading banging n the girl is annoying like shit. She likes the block head as she finds him cute being a blockhead yet later in relationship with him complains n whined to no end that he is obtused. Duh!🤦‍♀️ Other than the 2nd OTP, I really like that drama. And boy, does Bai Jing Ting have abs n biceps. That guy is really bulk up under his slender figure. Hahaha ... his waist is so tiny that even girls will envy.🤭🤭🤭

That said, the chemistry between YY n Raba is very mature type of chemistry. It emits warmth, longing, raw sexuality, the love exchanged between them in their eyes and mutual understanding. It's a very different feel. I don't know how to explain to you. For those mature viewers, they will understand and appreciate their chemistry immediately. It's a really realistic feel of love, chemistry between 2 mature adults who knows what they want in their partners.
