Asking questions for novel readers. Is this story one-sided, with the male lead (ML) bearing all the pain and jealousy, ready to move mountains for the female lead (FL), while she just waits for him and doesn’t actively fight for their love? I understand that she has faced many challenges, but shouldn’t she also take some initiative and move mountains for ML in the midst of all this drama?
Out of many thing that I dislike about this drama is that the male lead feels like the female lead's backup plan, a safety net, and a simp. Regardless of her decisions—whether she chooses to get married or possibly even has a second child—he is always ready to accept her for who she is. It's true what they say: the last guy often finishes last. Well when I saw an old middle age writer writing this drama it's all make sense. It's her fantasy of ML that want to be a doormat.
I don't think so, the main leads are clearly still in love with each other.
If this were a Kdrama or Cdrama, I would agree with you. However, Jdrama is different; the cheating plots in Jdrama really frighten me. For exp "Watashi no Takaramono".
