That Zhi Xi girl is so weird to me. How easily she allows the witch to get between them.
I believe ZX grudge is was held when they were young as back as when YY mention she is the weaker sister. That’s the reason why she always thrive hard to surpass YD and when YD started getting recognition ZX jealousy finally showed. The gossip from the other Deities just pour fuel to her inner 🔥

Does anyone know what happen to ying yuan at the end of the novel?
In the novel YD sacrifice herself and turns back into her original form of a four leaf lotus and sleeps for 100yr. YY gave up his emperor title and becomes Tho Dia so he can stay close to the lotus pond. (It’s like a low deity that’s a ground keeper lol sorry don’t know how to translate) That was the end of YY in the novel. YD wakes up 100yr later her and YM live happy ever after lol.

Yes it’s true but they probably changed this in the drama to make Ying Yuan and Yan Dan end up together
In the novel YD chose YM in the end because she realized he loved her this whole time selflessly. YM always loved and protected her silently until the end. She mentioned something along the line the way he loved her was pure while w YY was a lot of painful. Something along that line lol. Sorry it’s been along time since I read the novel. Hope it helps!!

Xiang Liu is my favorite character in the novel. He is a selfless lover. I’m definitely hoping for a better outcome for him in the drama. However I just saw his photos in a white outfit covered in blood. My heart broke for him.
