Yeah could be a cameo… She would be busy promoting Project Wolf Hunting. So far, the movie has been invited to 5 movie festivals (abroad). Not to mention, she has to promote this movie locally.
If she accepts the role (either as cameo/support role), she might do it out of love for the fans, good relationships with the Director/tvn/Studio Dragon. Lots of fans expressed their disappointments; including Koreans. When the news was released, 70-80% gave “sad” emoticons.

From last night episode, we know that alchemy of souls was Choi’s family secret, and Jin Buyeon is powerful due to Jin’s and Choi’s blood; not to mention the ice stone belongs to Jin’s family and part of JBY’s birth. Yet, we haven’t seen her power much. And we might get tragic ending for her tonight, considering Somin would not be in part 2. Let’s wait for tonight closure. Hope a good ending.. though it would be sad.

Finally after two weeks wait… can’t wait for tonight episode. I want to see the ending of part 1; and hopefully the waiting for part 2 would not be long.
We don’t know for sure whether JSM would be in part 2 or not. But my guess, she would not, based on her recent activities. For JSM fans, just cheer up, we’ll see her soon in upcoming movie - Project Wolf Hunting.
i also have one more theory i wanna add, we all have been getting hinted that "Mu-deok" is actually "Bu-Yeons"…
What we’ve seen so far is Naksu mind/soul in Mudeok/Buyeon’s body. If Buyeon has the power to trap a soul, does it mean she trap her own soul? I remember either Netflix/Swoon (could not remember) gave a hint of a shell about Mudeok.
