Did you search for the meaning of Ji Woo's restaurant name "Ti Aspetto" in English it translates to "I am waiting for you". I don't think Ji Woo is coward he is someone who doesn't express his feeling but to call hi coward is not the right word.

The writer is amazing, usually with dramas you can guess the way character behaves but after 2 ep I can't say What might have been the reason for Ji Woo to leave Seo Jun, If you look past Ji Woo's cold exterior you can see that he is still very much in love with Seo Jun and was waiting for him from his Restaurant name "TI ASPETTO" in English it translates to "I AM WAITING FOR YOU " so tell me who else is Ji Woo waiting for?

The thing I love about this drama is that every one has theories but no one is 100% certain of that. Personal opinion here, your reason 1 and 2 doesn't go well with Ji Woo's character. He said that in the last ep of s1 that he was comfortable with the way things are doesn't care about others knowing their relation, as for 2nd reason they gotten over it too.
As I read and re read the 3rd reason it doesn't make sense either. The writer is really good that's all I have to say.
