This can also happen, I also tend to watch series that are popular and there are times when I find them enjoyable other times I just drop them. For me best example of this is Bad Buddy and 2gether the series. I watched so many edits of both series and decided to watch the series but did not like it at all, I somehow completed 2gether but dropped Bad Buddy after 5 episodes.

Sorry to put water on your burning bonfire, there hasn't been any confirmation of 2nd season yet. And won't be for a few months. There are indeed 2 novels one covers the arc of 1928 which we saw and the other 1750 the commander Yai on horse back one which is covered in 2nd novel. The drama being an intl success as I have read in many comment will definitely get 2nd season, but not now. Go through 1st season some fan events then Special Ep maybe a concert or two after that when the fans will be longing for nothing more than wanting to go back to the time when the series started airing then 2nd season will be announced. This is how it usually works and I have seen it many times. So wait patiently and cry over the fact that you have already watched this masterpiece and even if you watch it again you still know what happens.

Started watching after 11th ep aired, I got blown up by this, I kid you not. Went into the story with just knowing the title and zero knowledge of the plot, after watching the first ep I came here and read the summary. Make sense but at the same time not. As episodes goes by the series progressed and I still remember their confession scene it gave me butterflies.
This year I became a Fan of My School President and after that I couldn't find any other drama that could get me out of MSP loop well IFYLITA did it. Both series are different genres so I can go back and forth now depending on the mood.
I did not cry through the whole series but when Khun Yai was crying holding Jom's drawing someone start cutting onion near me too. Read so many comments here saying there are two novels and we might get s2. Usually everyone is tight lipped until the special episode airs and even after that months later 2nd season usually get announced, so everyone brace yourself, if the series was as famous as I read in the comments it will surely get 2nd season. No way anyone will let it go to waste. Saying this from experience I have been Bl fan since 2019.
Another thing I wanted to ask I am a broke Bl fan who does not have money but like to watch many BL'S, does anyone knows where I can read the novel(s) for "cough" free "cough". I searched all over the internet and only found 10 chapters of 1st novel but nothing else. Help a broke fan out, if you have link to where I can read the novel let me know PLEASE.

I just found out MSP is based on novel, so looked for the novel and found the translated novel on Watp@d. Let me tell you if you are a fan of TinnGun especially whipped Tinn the novel is not like that at all. Novel Tinn is just complete stranger who I can never think of as drama Tinn. So glad GMMTV changed the novel to this masterpiece we love today because I don't think I can ever like novel Tinn at all.
For me both are like day and night. Only read 2 whole chapters and then skimmed through it in hopes to find our whipped Tinn from drama that sweet boy does not exist at all in novel version. Thank you to all the peoples who were behind the changing of the novel. And people say it's just like any other Thai school BL read the novel and then watch the series you will find what a typical Thai School BL is like.

I read somewhere Gemini and Fourth were also part of the series why they removed them?

Watched the whole series but I am confuse Did (Heart and Li Ming) kiss or not kiss at the end of ep 6? Their action cannot be justified as whispering as Heart cannot hear so did they do it?

They used the same scenario as the novel. So it does make sense. If the ending was different from the novel it wouldn't have make any sense for season 2.

So true, my only regret is that Wu Bin didn't buy anything for Su Yu with his first paycheck if he had it wiuld have been perfect. Still we got the whole series .

From 2016 to 2023 it only took 7 years. I read the news of Addicted being remade but didn't pay any attention to it, after completing the series I can say that "they(director/actors/production) did it justice." Although there were episodes that were too slow but the end result is good.
All the major scenes(expect for NC) we got it, plus the addition kiss (on cheek) in classroom was the cherry on top. No one can say its just a bromance between two male friends time and time the hints were there, morning kisses made it extra sweet.
I would really want to praise the actor playing Mo Yi he did a phenomenal job in the orignal series the actor did not match the description of the character but here he is spot on.
Waiting and hoping for 2nd season, but I am still surprised how did they passed the inspection test with 5 kisses even these are too much for chinese bromance standard.

It had potential but things went downhill. The story was simple and could have been a hit but production ruined it.

I watched the first episode last night and I am blown away. I did not had any expectations but this is good I hope the other episodes are also as good or even better than the first episode.
