Thank you for that - the situation in Myanmar is just awful and the repression of ethnic groups even before the coup was very bad. My understanding is that many of the ethnic groups are the backbone of much of the resistance to the military dictatorship. I saw that Aung San Su Kyi was recently found guilty in a rigged trial. One of her advisors, an Australian, was only released recently and that only after considerable diplomatic pressure.
I must read your contribution about why that may have delayed SWKMY - and I'm unsure what the CCP relationship with the Myanmar junta is like and if that might also be relevant. I did wonder if he overseas scenes were part of the problem

Immortal Samsara was my Cheng Yi gateway drug. Love him in Draw the Line too. Of course sighed over Love & Redemption - but I feel IS is a more mature production and there's a big leap in his acting
