she was amazing in rakshasa street and whirlwind girl 2. i have kept checking her profile ever since then. why doesn't she get to lead in better production dramas :(
i have an article about love and redemption which got kinda hate lol but i just dont like repeating dramas in…
Hi! Like you, I didn't enjoy LoveO2O that much but I still watch his dramas haha. Try The Left Year (movie). YY acted really well there. I'd also recommend You are My Glory but I think you won't enjoy him as the Perfect Prince Charming again.
Agreed. I was very curious about the era and age. Such things add a lot of detail to the character and also help the audience understand better about their thoughts. I haven't read the manhua either and thought she was in her twenties. Was very shocked when I learnt that she's just 15. I think the scene where she gets her period was a hint, but I didn't think it was her first period.
Also, there was this scene where LCG's second uncle, the Emperor says it's been so long since he met her. I had no idea how long, or whether it had been years since they met (especially since he had grown a moustache).
The other scene where I felt it was absolutely necessary for them to mention if years had passed was during Minister Du's death. He went to Sun Miao, who promised him that he would be able to extend his life to three more years. Otherwise, Minister Du had just an year to live. I (and many other watchers) have no idea how long he lived. Tbh I skipped some scenes because they had lots of dialogues on political situation which was boring. If they mentioned time there, it's my mistake for not watching lol.
There were more scenes like that where I wish watchers would be given more numbers to fully understand the scenario.
I want to read the manhua, but I read somewhere that it's not completed. I will perhaps wait for the author to complete it and then read.
