I’m confused. Ep 9 the ML gets hurt in the VR game protecting the FL from a falling statue… Game ends and they go to the hospital to check his arm/hand out?!?! He got hurt in VR, not in real life???

Yes, it’s like watching a little kid cry over something trivial, like just for a show and “poor me”. And I know that there are some anti-Esther folks here but I am not one of them. I really do think that she is fairly talented but she is not suited for a heavy role… at least not yet.

Personal Opinion: He Yu is a great actor, you can FEEL his character’s hurt, anger, resentment…. Esther Yu I think is fairly talented and entertaining enough, but I think she lacks the depth to play the character. When she cries, it doesn’t evoke any empathy from me. She sheds tears but I see no pain or hurt on her face. I think she is better suited for cheery roles.

I’m on ep 4-5 and those kids are so annoying.

I am about to start this drama and was wondering, is it 2 episodes per day, Mon-Fri? Trying to see if I should wait until all are released coz I rather binge watch. I guess all episodes should be released by end of next week?

I am a huge fan of Lee Seyoung and Na Inwooso this is not a complaint about them as actors… That being said, this plot is so frustrating so far (I’m at ep 6). I think if the ML really loves FL, he should just leave that shitty, gossipy town. That town gave the FL PTSD, so toxic and don’t even get me started on the ML’s mom. Imagine having that witch as a mother in law.

I read somewhere that this drama has 2 parts and that this is part 1. I really don’t want to start this drama unless part 2 will be released soon. Anyone know when part 2 is scheduled to be released?

I haven’t started this yet but just so I can be prepared… so wife gets kidnapped but is released before the husband realizes that she was actually kidnapped? Husband thinks thag the phone call from the kidnappers is a joke?

I’m half way through this drama, around episode 20… ML leaves FL coz he is poised and will die??? When do they get back together? Is it a long drawn out separation?

Ending was a bit rushed but overall, beautiful drama. I cried when the leads cried, i fell in love when they fell in love. kind of hit home since I did expat living during interracial relationship. I think 6 episodes were not enough.

Younger Koreans don’t resent Japan as a country much (anymore) and often travel to Japan but certain issues remain sensitive, like Comfort Women and Dokdo… As long as nothing inflammatory is said… I am sure there will be an uproar if this drama has anything sensitive re Japanese colonialism.
