Finally something fun to watch. I'm smiling all the time while watching this! I love the chemistry between the two ML, discovering this just made my day :-)
EP1 First impressions: ☑️ Good character styling☑️ Functional side couple☑️ Convincing filming sets,…
I agree (mostly). For me, the ML cop-acting is pretty good and down-to-earth. On the other hand, Thup still needs to grow in his role, he seems very unsure about how he should act sometimes. And while they already try to put in some stare-in-the-eyes scenes, those don't work right now. But indeed, the plot is interesting so far.
U can suspend your disbelief in ghosts and magic separately but you stop short at combining them? Thats like you…
I don't know if this is a reaction to my comment :-) I don't mind the child ghost (I am allowed to find it illogical that a ghost should age though: I've seen enough series/anime where unborn child ghosts appear in different shapes, just not as themselves 5 years older). For the child ghost it was weird that he appeared (well, that is what ghosts do), but the ML didn't realize it was a ghost, tries to take him to his father and then - when the ghost is gone all of the sudden - he says they should go find him. Now if it was a ghost, he should know nobody else can see them, and if it was a real boy (what the ML believed at first) he should've been asking much more questions about how the boy was there all of the sudden and how he managed to disappear while holding his hand. Like I said: I don't mind the ghosts, just the way things are being combined/told/acted is weird and illogical. The storytelling is very choppy at best so far. A little bit rewriting could've created a much better "flow".
I watched 2 episodes and I'm still not sure what I'm seeing ... A fortune teller that uses smell, but needs to go in trance to interpret tarot cards, falling asleep like ALL the time and everywhere. A 5-year old ghost tagging along while everyone thinks it is an aborted baby (so why 5 years old, do ghosts age?). I think I like the ghost with the rabbit mask the most, he makes the most sense so far (and that is not a lot). The actors seem to be new: all the time unneeded dramatic pauses, unfinished sentences and saying illogical things (but that last one is on the director then). I'm not against low-budget, and I can overlook the simplicity in the ghost appearances but for now the show needs to step it up.
Well, I liked this. Easy-going, no big drama, just 2 guys slowly falling in love and getting to know each other. Compared with other over-the-top drama queen acting shows, this feels soothing to watch.
I was a huge fan at the beginning, but now I'm downgrading my vote. The cowardice actions of Saenkaew are bugging me more and more. And the ever-more unreal escape-and-get-caught action scenes are killing my buzz. I get the time-of-age thing, I get the unwilling part of the father and the bride, but it should be pretty damn easy to just say "no" too ... In this show it seems to be less illegal to try and kill someone than to be gay, let's be serious here ...
I like where the show is going, but the things that bother me are again the obvious misunderstandings everywhere and the fact that everybody seems to be seeing everybody walk in/out of the actress's house. Besides that, Peak and Pearl will be a nice couple :-)
I don't understand why this gets such a low rating. I've seen other shows (like "10 Things I Want to Do Before I Turn 40", "I'm the Most Beautiful Count") where the acting is worse and they get higher ratings ... There're many nice scenes in this show so far. Also, Natcha did a great job in ep 4 (where I'm at now). I really felt sorry for her when she was turned down, it was amazing acting! The only downer is the "I'm hurt and need to go to the hospital or doctor immediately or get treated with the miraculous medical aid-kit everyone seems to be having" , but that seems to be common to many Thai series :-)
Ok, I may be the only one but I'm not so into the overacting of Prince (Nut). The only real reason I keep watching is Kosol ... he can wear anything and still look OMG amazing.
Nice series to watch. Not all the actors are good but the 2 mains have great chemistry. The dialogues and English are sometimes not ok, but when the 2 are together they're making more than up for this :-) And I forgot to add: some songs are very nice!!!
The mains are cute, with a little more effort the story could work. Unfortunately the video quality is bad and the subtitles are done by an infant AI. The director should put more effort in!
They do seem to be eating quite a lot ... eating before going home for eating, eating while waiting for food to get ready ... But otherwise, I'm still not sure how to feel about the show. It has promise though, so I'm gonna keep watching it for now :-)
With a friend like Do Ba Woo, humanity would've died a long time ago ... He's blaming everything on Ji Hun but in fact he is the one doing everything wrong. I think I'm starting to dislike the "I can't communicate at all" and the "everything leads to a misunderstanding but I won't explain" shows ... I my friend treated me like Do Ba Woo treated Ji Hun, I would be the one cutting ties ...
