Comparing a young love story vs a 7 year imperfect relationship sound so ridiculous and highlights the immaturity of some of these viewers.

We knew what the storyline would be but yet people are complaining that it is boring and there is no progression in the relationship. But yet the trailer shows there is a lot of drama to come...I wonder what they will complain about then because we all know they will find the tiniest thing to be butthurt about.

Ohhh I thought Tharn was implying Phugun would have to get his blessing, more like a older brother role if he had been present when they first started dating....

Finally someone who understands the issues in a relationship. I wonder if the people complaining ever really like Tharntype season one to begin with.
Since the first episode aired they were tearing this show apart.

I hope the next two episodes goes really well, but I will be waiting until it ends to finish watching. My expectations are too high and I know how things can take a turn for the worst cough cough (History: MODC).
I hope the ratings stay above 9 because this drama is directed and written beautifully.
It is not perfect but it shows that BL's do not have to look (for lack of a better word) Amateurish.
Honestly speaking BL directors need to do better and this drama proves that they have no excuse anymore.
It is a very simple story but because of great directing, you stay engaged and invested in the series.

Exactly, in my opinion that scene was very tame and mostly implied what was happening and left it up to the audience to figure it out.

The public outcry after 2gether finished with a high five was that it was "homophobic", "queer baiting'', "a censored bromance" .
Now Tharntype 2 comes along and its "too explicit".
What is the agenda here?
Cause at this point if they only show puppy love in future BL dramas, we will have no rights to complain.

People who follow BL dramas are so fake.
This series is 18+ Restricted (violence & profanity) so those who want a censored romance story between 2 GROWN MEN, why are you here??

Yes you can see they actually made an effort and used the higher budget well.
Lol they do look older and the fact that Gulf is noticeable more talker than Mew this season is so cute XD.

After reading all the complaints I was expecting to be disappointed. Honestly this was a very good first episode I dont know what everyone is being so butthurt about. The only issue I had was how they introduced Fiat was underwhelming.
The outfits and set design has improved, I also love their hairstyles so much more this season. Mew is looking like a snack.

This is a late reply but, I actually think Bai Qian also might have suffered from Postpartum depression. I don't think a drama like this would touch on that subject but it does make sense with her being mentally, emotionally AND physically abused (losing her eyes) before giving birth. It is not hard to see that she was depressed before she finally gave birth.

The villain story was weak and very surface level. The writing overall for this drama is lacking, the actors made it watchable.

Some ways the drama could have been better.
1. The FL had actually become her stepmother and lived with them for some time before they found out who she really was.
2. If the FL was the one to investigate who set her up and slowly get revenge on Kim Ho Ran
3. I wished her cellmate/friend had a bigger role and helped the FL get revenge.
4. The cellmate/friend should have acquired wealth (somehow) with the the money the FL gave her and after meeting each other again, setting her up as a wealthy woman with a new identity
5. The adoptive mother actually bonding over their love of the little girl after hating each other and helping the main lead get revenge. (Afterwards still maintaining a close relationship with her adoptive daughter).
6. The main lead putting his sister in her place after she keep going behind his back and arranging a meeting with the little girl and her adoptive mother.

I was right about everything

I will never forget the blackface scene that they thought was ok while I watched this drama as it was airing. Shame on them.

What did the FL ever did for to Kim Ho Ran for her to hate her so much. The husband was not even her son and they had a bad relationship so why is she trying to destroy the female lead. My guess is money and power. She is not the real mother of the husband that got killed therefore the FL daughter is actually the real HEIR to the company and the FL lead is legally entitled to the company (legally the wife).
Kim Ho Ran doesn't want to lose everything so she blamed the FL for her husbands death so she can go to prison (lose legal rights to the company) and tried to kill the baby (the heir to the company) so she would be able to keep everything. And probably pass the company on to her REAL son, the creepy body guard (pure speculation).
