So, forgiveness was the theme and lesson after all. I don't mind this lesson at all, as I am all about forgiveness - and yes, even the dad deserves to be forgiven - but I can't forgive this badly written story. All the actors did a great job with their given roles, but I am glad that this is over.
Film stole this show. Her acting was savagely on point in every scene, right down to the bitter end of her so-call vengeance. I've never been excited about an actress before (besides Mild & Aye), but Film has my heart. I look forward to seeing what she'll be bringing to the table in the future.
This series was well done for a genre of its kind. I was not disappointed at all although it was 95% predictable for me (even before Paytai was in the picture). I must say that I love Tay's acting in this, and Paytai (as it stands) is my favorite role of Tay's. His facial expressions were on point, and so were his posture, his mannerisms, and his suits!
It won't hurt to have a S2 as Pathomkarn is still on the loose, Maybe in this season, they could have Paytai help the police to finally catch him.
This was probably one of the best series I've seen from GMMTV. Off, Mild, and Baifern were the chaotic trio in this! But the real star of this series was Jenni's funky and chunky earrings! I couldn't wait to see what earrings Jennie will be rocking every time I click on a new episode. I'm glad I left this late to watch.
Win is such a hypocrite. He cannot have a brother as a criminal, but he is willing to overlook Rung's criminal activities because he still loves her and she's only a criminal because of Korn? Win prefers to get his answers upfront - he doesn't like playing games - but he cannot handle the truth. When Rung told him she'll only ever see him as a friend (and she even showed it in her actions countless times), he never took her words seriously and waited for her to return in hopes of starting something that will eventually hurt/hunt him in the end.
What Win is, is obsessive over someone who'll never see him as anything more than a brother. I hope he opens his eyes soon and see Rung for what she really is: a ruthless witch.
There is something there between Ah and Uncle Wit. They seem to know each other as in a father-and-son way.... or maybe I am reading too much into it.
Korn is exemplary in how we should treat/love/forgive toxic parents.
Nevertheless, I am liking this lakorn a lot. It might just be my favorite second series I've watched in 2023 (thus far) after 'Return Man'.
This is the BEST series I've watched so far in 2023! I looked forward to every item retrieval - no matter how silly - and the entire cast was fun! I was delighted to see Fiat in this show! I missed seeing his handsome mug!
The OST, though. It sounds like something straight out of a 70s or 80s American action series, and I just can't get it out of my head. Can't wait for the second season!
- I've come to realize that the best thing about this series is the OST.
- The Jack & O Show has run its course. Time to get serious.
- I still can't stand to look at the alien. However, O & the Alien? I could've made a story out of that.
- This is off track, but I like listening to George speak. Somehow, his accented voice is soothing.
- I'm being robbed of that sweet, sweet NanonMilk chemistry because of Fahsai. Ugh! Though I only ever ship NanonFilm because that pair is the real deal when it comes to chemistry.
- After getting betrayed by a teacher in 'The Gifted', Nanon is yet again betrayed by a teacher in this series. From hereon, Nanon will develop trust issues with teachers, so it's a good thing he's not in 'Home School'.
- And that ending. I knew there were sort of two Erngs, but did the parents kidnap that girl to pass her off as their daughter because she looks like Erng? Or were they lied to?
*Sighs* I tried to find positive things, but that's all I can do. Although I must admit that this episode was perhaps my favorite thus far, and I can't wait for the 10th one!
Win is getting on my nerves. How many times would he hear that Rung does not see him as a romantic interest, yet, in the name of Rung, he goes out of his way to do things for her? I want to feel sympathetic towards Win, but I just can't. He is on the same path as his father towards Korn - and even his sister - but I hope he pulls the brakes on this vengeful madness before it's too late.
I can't feel any sympathy towards Rung either, for no one told her to get in Korn's truck. She brought this demise on herself.
From what I've watched so far, I won't call it a love triangle seeing that Rung doesn't like Win the way he likes her (unless she has a change of heart when she returns), as her heart belongs to Korn. I can't wait to see what Rung had been up to for the past five years. Maybe she has become a criminal of sorts? Who knows?
I watched this series for Off, and I was introduced to Mai, and ever since, I've been on the lookout for her shows. She's such a great actress! As for Bright, his acting has improved a lot, and all I can see is bigger and better things for him future-wise. 18 episodes were just too much, it should've ended at the 13th episode, but once I start something with Off in it, I tend to finish it.
To make a long story short, Mew should just tell Erng that he has feelings for Fahsai, and that their meaning of the word "love" is not on the same wavelength.
This is perhaps one of the best series I've watched in a long time! Nanon and View had outstanding performances! The only story I felt uncomfortable watching was the BL one, for many reasons. I just thought that it was inappropriate, and the romance between them shouldn't have been there.
So it was about a girl! And someone told me that it was not, when in fact, anyone could've seen it coming where it concerns the girl, as this storyline is predictable.
No one takes into account the girl's feelings. While it's okay for Win to like Rung, he never took into account if she felt the same way towards him, for from the very beginning, any blind fool could see that she liked Korn. YET! It was stupid of Korn and Win to make that pact knowing that they both felt the same way about Rung.
Win going on this vengeful path on behalf of a girl who may never look at him the way she looks at his brother is stupid, but I want to see how this will play out, so I won't drop it.

Exactly! I can understand the friendship between O and Jack, but when 2 becomes 5, it feels as if they're third-wheeling or something.
