Yes, each pair was just cute enough. With Pine and August's story, it felt as if it didn't fit with the cutesy and cheesy mold that the others had going on. It was too mature, and I guess that's why many people didn't like the story.

That was a great scene! They were surely fated. Yes, I am fed up of the little sips, I want Hunter's story already! At first, I thought he might be out for revenge, but now, I am not even sure why he's even in the bar.
And by the way, Off said that OG's new song is "... the best. Better than TCTH." I've been anticipating the song ever since CC was mentioned, but now that Off's hyping it up, I can't wait to hear it even more!
It seems like CC is getting pushed back according to Off. At their event today, he said that they were rushing at first, but now, it's pushed back, and they're not sure if it'll air later this year or next year.
But we'll wait and see, for I read that the last Q will be filmed tomorrow.
After watching the last episode, I can conclude that although rushed, Pine and August's story is the most fleshed out. And of all the couples, they have the best chemistry. Their storyline was more mature than the others, and sometimes I felt as if I was watching a different show with Pine and August. This couple should've had their very own series instead of this one.
And Miss August, you didn't have to sell yourself, for Pine didn't ask you to do so. You two just needed to talk. There was no need to be selfish.
The only thing that I'm looking forward to now is Hunter's story. And if there's ever a second season, I'll be seated, despite the hits, misses, kisses, and messes.
I was likely more frustrated at the ending, because I wished there were at least two more episodes to conclude the series. Yet, I understand the need for the cliffhanger.
After watching Pine act like an idiotic walking red flag, I see why he was the way he was with Irin: he was as bad as her in the past. His character was so flawed, and so obsessive, that it probably took him a long time to be repentant for his stupidity. Had he minded his business and let August breathe and do her thing, Pine wouldn't have been acting like a man forever mourning his loss.
Pine was unbearable, and now I see why his story was left for last, but that was some great acting from Off! He did a good job of making me dislike past Pine. Unfortunately, in real life, I've met some Pines, and someone needed to do the dirty work of this character, so who better than Off?

I second this statement. Ever since I learned that Off and Pat would be paired for this series, I've anticipated their coupling. For me, Pine and August's story didn't disappoint at all. I felt satisfied after watching their meeting.

Dramatics aside, I love the duality that we got from Off. For the first 10 episodes, he was cold, invincible, and fierce. And in the last two episodes, he's this flirty, cuddly, cutie... before August stomped all over his little heart. Pine and August's first meet was the hottest!
I love Off and Pat together so much that I hope they get to work together again. Of all the couples, their chemistry is the sexiest. And August's entrance is already I C O N I C!
