Okay I will give you guys full accountin previous life Emperor/ML led an expedition to the North to conquer it…
Omg thank you so much for this, one quick question is why did Li Rong support the noble families so much in the past life bc in this life she seems to be pretty against them
So what happened at the end there? Why did Hwi Oh say "do you get it now?" when catching that criminal and she…
She thought he was going crazy beating a random dude up after she rejected him. Once she sees the guy Hwi Oh was detaining she realizes that he's one of the sexual predators (some criminal at least) that she saw on a bulletin board earlier.
There's an earlier scene where she's so paranoid, she takes pictures of wanted men so she can recognize the guys and stay away from them. And this dude was one of them, so Hwi Oh also recognized the dude because he had seen Min Kyung taking a picture of the dude's wanted poster.
For the anger problem I think because he was so angry at himself for letting his coworker die, once he caught the dude that killed his coworker he forgave himself a bit (so his mental health improved), but if he still had the anger problems, I see him getting better through therapy until he's 100% recovered.
Also I haven't rewatched since it finished airing so hopefully everything I said was right.
I was quite excited for season 2 even though I didn't really love season 1. I love a good hate to love trope, but in season 1 I didn't really get why Shu Yi hated Gao Shi De so much. Now Shu Yi once again hates Shi De but it makes sense this time bc people playing with your sincere feelings can hurt. Im not too fond of the physical abuse (Shu Yi really doesnt need to slap Shi De at work) but I just kinda shook my head and moved on. Now episode 2, I did not enjoy the sexual assault that seems so common in BLs. What's up with romanticizing sexual assault? The only thing I liked about this scene was Sam's crying. Like that felt so raw and he did a great job at portraying his sadness and regret. But if this drama is really making Shu Yi's dad the reason for Gao Shi De leaving Shu Yi and make Shu Yi feel bad I will be so angry. It's a trope done way too many times and honestly rather than a "good reason" for leaving him I would rather Shi De actually work on getting forgiveness vs drama makes Shu Yi the bad guy. I think at this point I'm in it for the side characters
After watching episode 1 and 2 for the first time, I found that the male lead, Lee Soo, is not a total jerk as…
Love this bc it’s my thoughts exactly! I was wondering if i was just too biased, but i don’t hate lee soo bc i see it as a coping mechanism for his lack of self-confidence. Those jokes about how great he is seems to be him putting up a front that he is super confident when in reality that’s exactly what he’s hiding. And that’s the reason he doesn’t go after wooyeon bc he doesn’t think he’s good enough and bc he doesn’t want her to see how “ugly” he is (but it’s really just his lack of confidence :(
Am I the only one thinking CM isn't evil? I mean it just seems like he betrayed her, but if he was so evil he would've been able to kill MW if he really wanted to. I'm on the side that believes CM just did it to protect MW. I think we'll know when he we meet his reincarnation. For now I don't think CS is CM reincarnated. Also am I the only one thinking MW's and CM's chemistry is wayyy better ???? the actors fit their roles but gosh I ship CM and MW way more, it's been a while since I had SLS.
I'm so disappointed in this drama. This always happens where the Taiwanese drama starts out so good and then the later half the plot becomes so random. What do Taiwanese dramas have against happy endings? From the looks of the preview it seems like our main couple will not get back together until maybe the last episode, the focus isn't even on them anymore.
Okay the drama is great and I love how the emotions of the characters aren't your average kdrama characters. But, I find several areas that are not small flaws, but big flaws that makes me want to drop this drama. One thing I absolutely hate is how kdramas always disregard friendship. Like Yoo Shik was heartbroken about his exwife and the drama makes a joke out of him. He is geniuely a good friend to Young Joon who has no friends, but Young Joon doesn't comfort his friend, and cares only for the girl he likes, not even taking his friend seriously.
I am interested in watching this drama but it looks like most people dont like the ending. Can someone spoil the ending so I can decide whether I want to watch or not?
I can’t hate him either.I still have some hope in him.He just lacks love.I have a feeling that he didn’t kill…
I am still holding onto the hope that he will be good bc I remember being so touched when young Hyun Moo protected So Jin from the drunk men and walked her all the way to the mom's restaurant. He seems to care for her the most and I am hoping she can open his heart and allow him to accept the mom's love bc mom loves Hyun Moo too.
