You know, I have to say, after watching so many since this and before this, I still think this is the best BL I've seen. It was impactful, had mystery, romance, drama, and comedy. Pretty much everything you want in a BL. Sadly we won't get a S2 cause the book ends here, and I don't think there's a sequel. :(

As someone who really hated TumTar in LBC (for various reasons), is this show something I should avoid? I've heard mixed opinions on that front. I've had at least one person tell me I wouldn't like it because of that, but others tell me if I like other BL, I'd like it. But figured I'd ask the commenters here since there's so many and bound to get a wide variety of answers.

Saint stated schedule conflicts but I think that's bullshit considering Mean's schedule for next year is way,…
An actor could have 12 projects in a year and still be able to squeeze in another, if the schedule lined up right.

Whereas an actor with a single project in the same year could end up not being able to go into another project simply because they film at the same time.

That's how it works with actors. If Pete isn't the main focus of Season 2 (which we know he isn't), they aren't going to work the schedule around his schedule.

Also, I'm not entirely sure why Saint says he's upset. Everything in this business is dealt with through agents. He wouldn't have been contacted directly. His agent would have been extremely mad at the director if they had done that. Chances are the agent was told the filming dates for LBC2, told the director that Saint's busy filming LFG during that time, and that was that.

Is this actually a thing? I know there's a first episode and all, but I can't seem to find any information on anything happening with it past that?

Title The Best Twins Spoiler
Spoiler tagging JUST in case. I'm on episode 4, and not quite sure why it's called The Best Twins, simply because Per is pretty much nonexistent in the story. But I also don't understand the hate for the show. This is probably the most I've ever laughed at a BL.

Not all BL have to be dramas, you guys know that right? This is clearly meant to be a tongue-in-cheek, almost slapstick-style comedy. If the gulp sounds they constantly make didn't give it away, there's so many other things that should, like Tee's daydreams, even ones that happen inside of daydreams. Honestly, if I take it for what it's MEANT to be, and not judge it as a drama, which anyone should be doing, this is actually one of the best BL I've watched so far and I'm not even halfway through. I *might* change my opinion by the end, but honestly I doubt it just because it's hilarious. It has a character you want to hate, it has characters you want to laugh at, characters you want to cheer for. It has pretty much everything a good show needs.

The only part I haven't liked is the fact there's literally no backstory to Tee/Per. Not even a small sentence explaining anything about them. It just kinda... starts.

So I don't why it's listed here but Saint won't be in S2 of LBC. At first the creators said that Saint was unavailable…
Someone keeps adding him, the page can be edited by anyone. We know he's not in the main cast of the series, and as such, he shouldn't be on the cast list. If they manage to snag him as a guest role later in the season, that's great, but he'd be added when that's confirmed. From what we know now, he's not going to be in S2, and people should really stop adding him, lol.
People need to realize Saint is very busy right now. *just* drama wise, he has 2 coming out in 2020, and then he has other things he's doing as well. Kinda disheartening seeing rumors about him in the comments, when it's most likely just he's too busy to star in another drama next year.

Pete is absent for most of book 2 of LBC, so it actually works out either way, for all we know, they can manage to snag Saint for an episode or two near the end of the season. All we know is he won't be in the main cast, that doesn't mean he can't be a guest cast member later.

As for why this is happening: The situation with season 2 last time was the agent that represented half the cast had issues. I don't know what changed (are they even still with him?), but something clearly did. We should just be happy it changed and not question it, lol.

I super want to watch this, do I actually have to do the homework and watch love sick 1 and 2 before I can or…
Personally speaking, I think it can stand on its own just fine. It might spoil the ending of Lovesick, but reading this page kinda does that, so I think you'd be safe? Lol.

then dont watch BL lmfao...
I'm not sure how that has anything to do with my comment. I've watched tons of BL shows, and none of them have had couples irrelevant to the plot or main characters like TumTar, nor relationships as uncomfortable as theirs.

If you're referring to my last sentence, you might want to read it again. I said I obviously prefer the M/M relationships in BL, but in this show, I found myself WAY more interested in Pond/Aim than TumTar.

What is truly annoying me is people coming here and bad talking a show before it even airs. Did u star in the…
Your 2 points: (I'm agreeing with you, before you think otherwise, lol)

1. I won't watch TharnType. I wasn't a fan of TarTum in LBC. *very slight VAGUE spoilers in LBC, I stress vague, for those reading this, which is why I did not check spoiler. Nothing specific is said* I found their storyline disturbing and not interesting in the least. The fact the makeup and wardrobe people purposely made Tar look like he was 14-15 made it even worse. Considering TharnType is essentially a pre-quel of that storyline, I have no interest in it. Especially since we were pretty much told what happened with TharnType in LBC, so we already know the ending. So I don't see much reason in watching it personally.

2. As for this show, I was actually REALLY offended by the directors comments about 2Moons2 (not because of 2M2, but because of his reasoning, as it applied to pretty much any BL show that features kissing), but it doesn't have anything to do with the actors. So insulting the show is disrespectful to them. They're the ones who put in the hard work to make the show. The director is just one VERY SMALL part of the show.

Think of it this way: You go to a restaurant. You get seated. You get served your food. You hear the host/hostess say something offensive like, "God, why did they order that much?" Do you scream "GOD THIS FOOD IS HORRIBLE WHY DOES ANYONE EAT THIS? WHY SHOULD I BOTHER?" No. Because the cook didn't do anything. The restaurant owners didn't do anything. The waiter/waitress didn't do anything. It was one person in the whole cog of the machine. By insulting the show you haven't seen before, because one person involved in it, no matter how important they are in it, says something bad, is extremely disrespectful of the other people involved.

And personally, I do prefer BL that have kissing scenes just because it does make the romance feel more real, as a lot of actors can't show emotion without it. But I've found my fair share of BL I've enjoy without kissing, and hell, I've found my fair share that I've found I enjoy the straight couples more than the BL ones. (which is why I find the "BL Cuts" people post kinda annoying as they can be the only ones that end up surviving the copyright takedowns, when there's no official source), because sometimes you'll be surprised and find a non-BL couple or character you love.

This show looks like all sorts of wacky from the trailer (from the blood exploding out of the nose to the whole general concept). But... I kinda wanna see it, haha. (I don't like using the actors names, but I don't think we know the character names yet, so...)

I have no doubts there will be a BL couple by the end, as well as a straight couple, but it's more a matter of who they'll be. Ohm and First play brothers, but at the same time with a show like this, they don't seem to care about that. (Ohm was staring longingly into First's eyes at least twice in that trailer, once while they were lying in bed) So it was a bit... yea.

I'm kinda curious where the show is going to end up to be honest. Either way, it definitely looks like it'll be silly and that's what will be worth watching. Plus, it's GMMTV, and they put the shows on youtube subbed for their English audiences, so no need to search for them, :D

unfortunately there will not be a season 2 the actors are banned from seeing each other for seven years because…
I can't actually find a source anywhere stating the actors are banned from seeing each other. In fact, the only thing remotely close is that "China banned the actors from being on tv together" and that's on wikipedia of all places, and it literally says "Citation Needed."

On top of that, if they're filming in Taiwan, I'm almost positive they would not be bound by Chinese law, as it would not be airing in China, and their law specifically prohibits gay depictions on Chinese air.

Anyway, there's no news on any of the cast. I doubt 3 years later they'd get the same cast anyway.

Title 2 Moons 2

One episode from the finale now, and I've revised my feelings on the cast. No need for spoiler tag as nothing spoiler-y in it. :P (I mean, I mention an episode number that changed my mind on an actor, but nothing specific in the episode)

Pha: Season 1. Season 2 just doesn't feel right in the role, don't know why.
Wayo: Season 2. He didn't feel right at first, but the nuances got a lot better as the show went along.
Ming: Season 2. Season 1 is also great, but Season 2 just became so lovable as the show went on.
Kit: Season 2. I didn't like him at first, but Episode... 8? (I think?) sold me on him. Now I vastly prefer him over season 1.
Beam: Season 1. I just can't get into Season 2's Beam. I don't know what it is.
Forth: Season 2. Still Season 2. Season 1's Forth I just never really thought fit the role.

Title 2 Moons 2
So far I'm at the point that 2 Moons 1 ended at, and honestly, it just showed how much pointless filler was in season 1. They managed to squeeze pretty much the same stuff from 12 episodes of season 1 into 4 of season 2.

That said, actor wise, I do prefer Season 1 over Season 2 in everyone one except Forth. I'm on the fence about Ming. Both Mings have their strongpoints. Although I like that Season 2 Pha can express more emotion than Season 1 Pha, he just doesn't look the part to me. Meanwhile, Season 2 Wayo just hasn't sold the character to me yet. Maybe he will soon. Likewise, Season 2 Kit and Beam I haven't had any connection with in regards to the characters, whereas Season 1 I felt connected to the characters in just a few episodes.

Looking forward to the other 8 episodes, regardless. (On a side note, watched an English interview with the cast and giggled when Forth's actor said he has had "more than friends" feelings for Beams actor before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-EGyuLXhVE)
On Our Skyy Sep 29, 2019
Title Our Skyy Spoiler
Did anyone else feel like InSun felt... I dunno. Incomplete and off? Not just in Our Skyy but in MDL too? Like, even ignoring the fact we never see them once kiss (though we did get the almost kiss Sun initiated in MDL and the almost one In initiated in OS)

Like, Sun expected Ainam to be fine with his rejection of her feelings just because he was gay, but wasn't okay when In rejected his feelings and wasn't okay just being friends. Yet he told In that he should be okay just being friends with Ainam when Ainam rejected his feelings for her as well. Like, Sun was kinda a massive hypocrite the entire time.

Then there's the fact MDL ended with Sun and In "dating" but no label on it. Then in MDL:Happy Ending, In's talking about all the girls he wants, and how he doesn't think that's not okay while Sun is right there.

Then we get to Our Skyy, and suddenly In is completely different. We learn he was dating a girl, that apparently Sun encouraged him to date and helped him woo, (what? Why would he even do that if THEY were dating?) and because they broke up, suddenly he needs Sun again? Sun isn't the type of character that would be okay being the backup, even for someone like In.

And then by the end of this series, In says he loves Sun, (he doesn't even say he's in love with him, just that he loves him, which friends say all the time). And suddenly he says if anyone asks, he'll say he's his lover. You guys haven't even kissed (considering Sun said he needs to stop playing with his emotions after the almost-kiss, we can assume they've never kissed at least), and now you're saying he's your lover?

It just felt very... off and forced, just to fit everything into an hour. As much as I wanted to see more InSun, I feel like it would have been better dealt with in a new series, rather than an hour long special. Cause in the end, it just felt like they forced a straight guy into a relationship with a gay guy, and to me, it feels like the ending of MDL - a relationship that's just going to fall apart very fast.

Title HIStory: Obsessed Spoiler
I can't seem to complete this series out of HIStory 1... I find Jing Teng really dislikeable... He was bullying…
If the break-up is the main reason you haven't finished it, you should give the series a chance. The break-up is given an explanation in the last 5 minutes or so of the series.

As for the type of relationship that you're talking about, that's the point of the series, hence the title being obsessed. There's nothing being glorified. Yes, he says he loves him in the end, but he also says no quite a few times.

*This is all just based on the trailer, I haven't read the novels* You know, I understand people seeing the Rape tag and saying they won't watch it, but you should watch the trailer before you immediately judge it. I was skeptical too, because Thai/Korean dramas tend to romanticize rape for some reason.

But based on the trailer, it looks like it's being handled in a very realistic way, rather than romanticizing it. I'm going to watch it, just because the main character looks likeable, and the storyline looks like something that I could actually see happening in today's society.

I doubt it would. It's a Line original series
Line TV is just a channel. GMMTV is the creator. Much like Cause He's My Boy (My Tee).

Cause He's My Boy aired on Line TV and was uploaded to GMMTV's Youtube Channel eventually. He's Coming to Me has trailers and promos on the GMMTV channel as well.

GMMTV isn't a TV Station. It's a production company. It makes TV shows, songs, and such. They just happen to have a youtube channel and upload things that they believe might have an appeal to a worldwide audience. I don't think I've ever seen them upload something specifically strictly for a Thai audience, as I think to them they see that as lost revenue.

It could be a while until it's added though. Who knows how long. They could be waiting for something specific. (An official English translation of the novel to be put on sale or something to try to get as much money from it? Who knows?)
