I love zombie, gore, horror, you name it so this was right up my alley. I enjoyed it. Spoilers below, only open…
The good: The acting was really good. My favorite character out of everyone was Nam Ra but her abilities were so underused. She could have been a total bad ass and more useful in general. I really liked her in the last 2 episodes. Jae Ik and his sidekick guy were quite funny; they become parents of 2 over night XD. The open ending is enough for me to continue for a Season 2.
Questions: What happened to Eun-Ji after the 24k sound nearly killed her eardrums during testing? It looked like Science teacher who created the virus was a "hambie" so where did he go? Why did On-Jo's dad have to stay on the inside of the tennis court? Was there no way to close it or something, thus he used his body to close it?
The bad: The death of Gwi-Nam was quite underwhelming. I got tired of the fat jokes, they weren't funny to start with but I guess this is just a normal thing in C/KDramas.
I gave it a 9/10 rating for it was enjoyable. Well, the zombies kept me engaged the most XD.
I see "love triangle" tag and I roll my eyes. I hope FL just marries them both or the guys have a bromance or something bearable otherwise a possible SLS for me (yikes). Or even better, SML has a romance of his own. That'd be nice. Too early to say, I know, either way I will watch once fully aired. ;p
The production quality is actually amazing. I loved the slow-mo, the makeup and OST. It felt like a beautiful music video with a story. I really enjoyed it and wished it was longer.
I have finally watched this. I've watched the Kingdom series and I loved them. This drama special was alright. The last half of the drama was the most exciting. I knew this wasn't going to be full of zombies like the dramas so I just took it for what it was. I wouldn't watch it again personally but for what it was, it deserve its praise. I look forward to what Ashin brings in Season 3. c:
Firstly: The ending was expected because, for some reason, these kinds of genres with vampires and BL don't get a "Happily Ever After" , which is OK but sometimes it's nice to be surprised with one of those.
One thing: I think Jun Ho had some kind of anger management issues to kill his friend so fast. But, I'll give it to him, he did give his friend a warning.
Lastly:If it were longer and more depth in plot and character development, this could have been real good. 8/10 for me simply because I like vampires. And the kiss was gooooood. Aaaand Yoon Seo Bin is a cutie. c:
